Quinoa is much healthier, but I'll be honest: I don't like the taste at all. I do love couscous, though.

What a wonderful accomplishment! I am a very slow loser, and I must say that it's so encouraging to me to see someone who has lost 75 pounds over the course of a few years. While I'm always thrilled for those on MFP who manage to lose this kind of weight in under a year, it can reinforce for me how slowly my body loses…

Awesome! Thank you so much for sharing your story!

Good to know!

I just found it and bookmarked it - thanks for sharing! It looks great.

Thank you. :)

Hi, I don't swing it around, per se, but I do kettlebell swings. Have you heard of them? If not, I would recommend finding some YouTube videos that explain the exercise in detail and explain the form involved. I enjoy them and they really get my heart rate up quickly. I am starting off slowly, as I mentioned, for my own…

Thank you! This is good information for me.

Thanks, girlie!

Thank you! You are right, let me clarify. How can I add it under strength training, just to keep track of what I'm doing? I tried, but couldn't seem to find anything in the database.

I take exception to your remarks. You cannot make blanket statements like this, as we are all different and have unique, complicated bodies. For insulin resistant people like myself, you absolutely CAN lose weight by eating the same calories and fewer carbs - in fact, it's the only way I can lose weight, period. I've…

Thanks! I used a Ball jar this morning, but there was a lot of room left at the top. I need to buy smaller canning jars.

I'm not modest about gas and pooping either. :) Everybody does it!

I for one am glad you went there. :) I am not doing a total juice fast, just 2 of my daily meals are juice right now. But I have noticed that I am not as regular as I usually am and like to be. I have Smooth Move tea and will try that this evening! I'm already taking a good probiotic. Any other tips, other than enemas? :)…

Hi - I didn't read all the other comments, so I apologize if I am repeating something already said. For mild sleep issues, this works GREAT. It was recommended by my naturopath and, while I don't have trouble sleeping, I don't feel like it's restful sleep (fibromyalgia) and have noticed a difference with this product.…

Started BFC today! Hoping to exchange both recipes, motivation, success, and tips with others. :)

You are honestly gorgeous at both weights! But what a transformation -- congratulations on your weight loss!

Congrats! You should be so proud!

I am definitely going to try this. Thanks!

I am! I'd also like to add to this, something that is very important to me. Not only is my husband incredibly supportive (even though he can eat what he wants and not gain weight) but he loves me and accepts me just as I am, regardless. He never fails to tell me how beautiful I am and this means the world to me. Supportive…

I have a few of her DVDs and really love them! I love the walk + jog one, and then one that is 1-mile per day for five days -- each mile focuses on a different part of your body, and you can combine any number of them into one workout, so you'd range from 1-5 miles at a time. I don't have a heart rate monitor, but the walk…

My crockpot seems to cook hotter than others -- I wonder if I could try 6-8 hours on low instead? Either way, sounds tasty!

Yep -- me! :) It's interesting you posted this topic as it's been on my mind quite a bit here at MFP. I LOVE being curvy and, in all honesty, have no desire to be skinny. My goal is to be down to 200 lbs and/or a size 14/16. Ironically, this would be fat to lots of people or a starting point for them, but that's cool! I…
