I heard a lot of bad things about it, but I figured I'd go check it out because I also heard each location was different. The location near me did not have any free olympic bars, just Smith machines where the bars were attached. That's a basic part of weight lifting to me, so based on that factor alone I didn't sign up.…

I used to have that problem, but I've thrown the scale away and just focusing on other goals, and I feel better.

I have used new rules of weightlifting. It's hard to figure out some of the exercises but not too hard once you find youtube videos.

I agree! As an adult if I were Joanie I'd be pretty sad. As a kid Joanie I'd probably cry.

I think as far as terrorists go, he's good looking...but as far as the general population goes, no he's not good looking at all. I could walk down the street and find many people looking way better than him.

Don't decline! I'd be so sad if I brought something for my teacher and he or she declined it. I always accept food gifts, and if I don't want them just leave them on my desk until 5 o'clock.

I usually wave back, but OMG sometimes I'm just dying and way too tired depending on how long I've been running.

I have, it worked until I got down to about 5 lbs away from my ultimate goal. I suppose if I want to be super fit and thin I'd have to eat clean, but I lost all my overweight weight and then some eating whatever.
-
I've done that.

Thanks for the opinions. I'll be running after the sun goes down so burns won't be an issue. No shirt it is.

I would just sit down and talk to him about all of the above, instead of asking for opinions on the internet. If you're waiting for him to propose, you shouldn't have a problem talking to each other honestly about those things, even if it takes a few sittings to figure it all out.

Related question: Is it cooler to go shirtless, or to wear a moisture wicking sleeveless shirt, or wear a regular sleeveless shirt, or wear a moisture-wicking shirt with regular short sleeves? It's so hot I'm willing to go shirtless if it's indeed cooler.

Joseph Gordon Leavitt, Daniel Craig, and the guy who plays Hawkeye are the only celebs who do anything for me!

I pay $35 per month. No pool or classes, but it's clean and has everything I need. To me it's worth it because it's super close to my house and open 24 hours. I'd rather have those two things than pool and classes.

Losing weight felt great, every pound lost was a victory that inspired me to lose more. Then I got where I wanted to and got lazy and started to gain. I knew I was gaining and would be good sometimes, but it was depressing to gain, so instead of being inspired by my loss it was the opposite - I was discouraged by my gain.…

I always take free if I haven't already eaten. I wouldn't do 5 slurpies. Probably wouldn't do any slurpies, because it's not a meal I'd be replacing with something I bought with my own money. But whenever someone buys me lunch or dinner I always comply so I don't have to eat my own food later at home.

Because Pepsi is better.

That up there. But either way you're feeling better, so I guess it doesn't matter what's causing it (placebo effect or actually not eating meat)

When I'm running and someone else is running and I pass them this happens - sometimes there's even high 5s. But not if I'm just walking around and I see someone running. And not when I'm just walking around seeing a fit person, because I'm not fit myself!

I don't understand why people are annoyed by a lot of things at the gym. Who cares if someone is wearing make up, maybe they just came from work. Who cares if someone has a big gallon of water. Who cares if someone is grunting. I've never seen anyone give anyone a "why are you here, you're fat" look. I think most people…

No way - I lived in their house 22 years rent-free! Plus I'm sure she'd help with the kids, so bonus. My parents paid for so much and have done so much for me. My mom never had nice things because she was always taking care of us. I'm sure I'd have a hard time adjusting to having a parent in the house, but could never…

This is exactly why I don't like Sansa. She think's she's so helpless and can't do anything for herself. I only watched the show though, don't read the books.

I don't think most people notice how real Barbie looks until someone points it out...I always just thought of it as a doll, never expected it to be like a regular person. Regular dolls don't look like regular people either, their heads are enormous and creepy. I am wondering if it's easier to change Barbie's clothes…

It does get easier, but not as much easier as exercise gets. I still struggle with making the right decisions after 2 years, but overall, my decisions are still better than they were.

This is great! You look great! I've just started NROW4W for the 4th time this morning...each time I get through stage 1 and lose motivation so maybe this will help me finally continue!

I know a few people who are trying to stay away from gluten, my cousin has gone completely gluten free and swears she feels so much better and somehow they did some "test' (but the results were based on her feelings...) Does gluten really physically make her sick? Who knows. But she seems to feel a lot better now that…

I have a fitbit zip I wear all day to track my calories I burn from walking around, and when I do cardio I wear my heart rate monitor with a chest strap (sorry I don't remember which one). Then I go in and make an activity log on my fitbit account and log my cardio calories through MFP. The HRM isn't water resistant, but I…
