  • "huge pockets...sore thumb" yep that would be my *kitten*. and fat rolls... I'm too big for things to 'hug' my body.. they dig into the rolls. I use the old fashioned pack when I ride a bike, but carry it to the gym to stick under the elliptical. AND it was not easy finding one any more... I had to go to some knock-off…

  • this is too hard. I went gangbangers to start.. not really gangbangers, but I had 4 days where i did 2-3 workouts, one of which was at least 20 minutes. now I'm down to one a day.. damndamndamn

  • Challenge called due to rain. honest... I didn't think it was a good idea to stand in an open driveway with a hand-hoe metal rod in my hands when the clouds raced in and the wind kicked up.. but I did a whole 20 minutes (I was aiming for 60) and burned 156 calories.. another day another dollar
  • 1) It IS possible to lose weight. 2) don't think calorie counting is the be all and end all of the journey... I'm still yo-yoing and I can't understand why..I really think I screwed my body up with initial weight loss 3 years ago and I'm not back to normal... endocrinologist visit pending
  • 38 minutes elliptical is all i could manage. i could not get my heart rate above 120.. feeling sluggish,, but counting 313 calories..
  • worked a 2 hour morning shift and have to go back later for 4 more hours to cover a vacation BUT in the middle I got the grass cut. it's getting harder as i get older. took a whole hour and it's not killer hot now. I'm dripping sweat onto the keyboard but 1 hour for 677 calories... I'm loving watching all you guys post…
  • took every thing I had but I rode my bike today for the first time all year. It's cold out.. it's never been cold.. i wore a sweat shirt... 23 minutes.. 126 calories. and while I was doing it i was thinking how easy 20 minutes can be.. of course my legs are dying my back aches and I better stretch but happy camper here..

  • I'm trying p90x upper body workouts. well, part of them.. I can't do the whole things.... I think ideally I should do shoulders/chest/tris then abs then back/bis then stretch then a generic full body workout with a dose of cardio every day? that would be ideal

  • still feeling a little lonely and down.. no big deal: worked a short shift,, napped and now: hrm wedding gravel driveway with a hand tiller.. I only managed about a 5 foot section.. but: laugh if you will-57mn=498 cal=51min in zone=avg hr 123=max hr 139.. I'll take it, plus I was in the sun!

  • I feel OK. I'm feeling trapped in my body and know I need to stretch... and because of this challenge I DID! only about 20 minutes but got a little bit loosened up...I'm recording a 2 for the day... plus another dollar in the envelope...
  • arms are functioning today.. I was able to carry some groceries without too much pain. so far I did my elliptical 44 min....with some sweet reggae music and Jammin' kicked in just when it was time for cool down.. KILL IT.
