you should have rated hers. silly. but hey, 10 ounces of vodka? i might have some trouble solving logic problems myself. like this: nutrition/7 calories/10 yumminess/7 seriously, no mixers? just straight vodka?

you're not hungry because your metabolism is already dead. not permanently, but you will need to eat more to wake it up. I would actually suggest upping your calories to 1800 or so for a week at least. your appetite will come back in a rush, and believe it or not- you will feel way better.

I do the same thing- a bite here, a bite there. I just figure it in- after doing this for a while you develop a pretty good ability to estimate. I usually assume 200ish kcal, tops. but i don't worry about it too much.

in reference to the post above, that can be true for some, but i've found that the 1200 kcal/day limit, while not especially difficult to stick to, was putting my body into starvation mode. Just goes to show, it's important to try something, look at the results, and adjust.

oh man, I don't know...that's a rough one.

Brussels sprouts! peel off the outer leaves, slice in half, panfry in a little butter. awesome.

I might not be the best friend for you, especially if you think you're an alcoholic. I drink! sometimes! And I don't see any problem with it.

A splurge day for me can be completely essential. It's not necessary in the sense of overworking my willpower and losing control, but in the sense of not killing my metabolism. I tend to go under by a few hundred calories most days, and the occaisonal cheat day helps my metabolism keep moving.

yup! do it!

nope! it takes a while. keep working on it!

eat 'em! eat too little, and your body will think you're starving. it'll quit burning fat and conserve instead. it's a fairly fine margin, actually. I actually did it to myself the first few weeks i used this site, trying to eat only 1200 kcals per day. I'm still trying to restart my metabolism.

it's not part of my daily routine-although it does happen more often than I would like. I usually only log it when it goes on for more than 15-20 minutes. sometimes it's as much as an hour or more, and then again sometimes it doesn't happen at all. wrestling is a good idea, and much more accurate. and who knows- maybe i…

I've been having the same problems. my guess is a combination of stress about food (nothing feels like a good choice), and depression. try exercise before you eat, especially in the morning. or pot. that works wonders.

Seriously excessive amounts of water consumption, coupled with excessive water and electrolyte loss through sweat or diarrhea or vomiting, can in some cases lead to a condition called hyponatremia. This literally means that you have diluted your body's fluids with water to the point that your sodium levels are excessively…

lentils fill you up super fast and are really high in fiber and protein. dal is your friend! watch out for yellow egg noodles and the sauces on italian and chinese foods, they can be really high fat. As far as italian, try to avoid cream-based sauces and tons of pasta.

The sugar in the gum dissolves. you swallow it. that's where the flavor goes.

you can tell him that even if he doesn't want to count calories long-term, logging religiously for just a few days can really help him see what he's eating and what needs to change. but if he still refuses, remember that men lose weight differently. my boyfriend and i started trying to lose weight at the same time and he…

Mio is pretty good and zero kcal.

dude! steamed veggies are my favorite. cauliflower is awesome with salt and pepper, just chop it up, throw it in a pot with an inch of water and heat it with a lid till it's tender. broccoli too. also: popcorn!

quit beating yourself up so bad! just keep on keeping track and focus on positive habits. instead of thinking about food all the time, find something fun to do that doesn't involve food. it can be exercise-try something new, like zumba or kickboxing!- or crafts or anything that helps you focus on something else. you do…

believe it or not, a big glass of cold milk satisfies that craving fast. it makes you feel really full and gives you plenty of calcium too!
