I don't even need to read past this paragraph - On more than one occasion, my boyfriend has referenced my weight as being the one thing that prevents him from wanting to spend the rest of his life with me. Some specific comments have included, "one day I hope that I can learn to love your body the way I love the rest of…

go see a dr. I've had my period skip once since I've changed my life, but I've always eaten plenty. if you're not feeding your body enough, your periods can be affected. My periods have also changed their cycle a bit since losing weight, but nothing bad. if you aren't eating enough, OR you lose a lot of weight in a short…

this. I have lost 117lbs and have pretty much always eaten over 1200 calories.
-
ok so you're losing inches and you're mad?? stop obsessing over the scale. it is the devil.
-
I track it. I only go over once in a while on cheat days/holidays. it's pretty easy to keep it in check - don't eat a lot of processed stuff. :)
-
feel free to add me. I'm still a relatively new runner, but I've gone through one round of half marathon training, run two half marathons in nov & dec last year..... and am currently in 'training' for a half again, but using it as a jump start on training for tribal quest..... on the docket this year, in addition to tribal…

my sw was 303.4. I'm currently 186.6. :)

you're never hungry, and you're overweight? huge red flag, your metabolism is probably shot! you need to eat 6 times a day this is what I've done for two years and it has worked wonders. Also I cleaned up my diet in a major way, and started working out. Now I run, and work my butt off at the gym - and I LOVE it!! feel free…

c25k. an elliptical is very different from running, especially when you're just starting running.... but it's great - go for the 5k! but start running, and do it outdoors!
-
completed my first two 10ks (march & Oct 2012) and my first two half marathons (Nov & dec 2012)..... On the docket for this year ..... a 5k in april, a 10k in april.... a 10k in june.... tribal quest (obstacle course 5miler) in july .... and another blue & grey half marathon again in December. who knows what else will come…

Ok first off, you started a week ago. calm down. secondly, chances are you aren't eating as well as you think you are. I can't see your diary but this is often the case. another problem could be that you've increased your physical activity while dropping your calories too low. yes this is a huge problem on here. Also,…

also good on salads.

I'll be 31 in april! :)

go back to c25k and don't give up. it's pretty simple. ((coming from someone who hadn't ever run, started intervals last year.... and then did a half marathon training program - but if you're giving up on c25k then you're gonna get nowhere - and now I've run two half marathons in the past couple months, and am in my next…

take a chill pill. it's been 9 days. stop freaking out.

I use body fortress and I like it a lot. not only is it affordable (and when you use it a lot it gets costly) but it tastes good, and is low in fat and carbs.
-
No. I had worked on 'building a butt' because mine was a little flat... then i started a half marathon training, and wihle I was so focused on running and just concerned with making it through the race, I slacked on the strength. I literally ran my butt off!! I'm doing another half marathon training program now (after…

chicken breast greek yogurt tuna fish other fish (salmon, tilapia, etc), shrimp nuts & nut butters

it's surprisingly simple. just do it. you're looking at it like it's this terrible thing that you MUST do. look at it like you just do it because it's healthy and good for you. all i drink is water, aside from a cup or two of coffee most days.

Protein Shake 1 scoop egg protein (vanilla) 1/2 scoop pea protein (vanilla) 1/2 cup frozen berries (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries) 1tsp ground flax 1tsp chia seeds 1/4 cup canned pumpkin 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk 1/2 cup water + a cup of coffee with 1/2 tbsp sugar free peppermint mocha creamer + 3 cups…

weeeelllll, the texture of eggs, doesn't change that much - so if that's your issue with them, I guess you're just sol. you can always make a quiche with lots of veggies or something, but it's still eggs. you can put raw egg whites in your protein shakes. I do it often and they are tasteless.

my suggestion is to stop weighing like crazy.
-
your weight fluctuates. could be water weight. could be that you need to take a crap. seriously. stop weighing every day if you can't handle the NORMAL fluctuations. you didn't gain 5lbs overnight.
-
it's just a low calorie diet. and I don't really think that eating cereal all day is a great healthy diet. make a lifestyle change. eat healthy. eating healthy is NOT hard. ((i'm not opposed to special k or anything just saying the whole diet is just lowering your cals and that's why 'it works'))
-
I, too, hate this show. it's so ridiculous, and I hate that people get so into it and that it's on tv at all. Jillian michael's and all of them should be ashamed to be a part of this.
-
I am still large chested, but my size has gone from a 46ddd to a 40d which is much more manageable. ;)
-
it's not that our bodies want us to stay fat (I don't think) it's that people don't make it a lifestyle change - they make it a diet which is temporary. it's very true that most people that try to lose weight do not succeed, and most people that lose weight don't keep it off. this is why you have to CHANGE YOUR LIFE!…
-
Um, just get up and do it. not really that complicated. I get up and work out usually Sautrday and sunday unless sunday is one of my planned rest days..... and I'm running in the cold early on saturday mornings, so if I can do that, you can get up and do some wii. how's that? ;)
-
Ok you do burn calories at you job, yes, BUT a work out is something that is OUTSIDE of your normal daily activities (i.e. your job, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping)..... so no, don't count those calories as part of your work out - BUT do take that into account when figuring your daily calorie goals as that does affect…

well they say that 80% of weight loss is what you eat, so how is your eating? Depending on how much you have to lose, you're either right on track, or you're a little slow on the weight loss. either way is fine, just ignore everyone.
