How old are the kids? Take them on a walk, jog or to the playground and play with them. I walk at a park during my daughters cross country practice. I am a teacher....I usually pack a salad everyday with a variety of toppings: peppers, olives, broccoli, cauliflower, sunflower seeds, feta cheese, corn salsa et. al. I started last night...did all of the 8 sets on Day 1: walked at 3.0 and ran at 5.0...my legs and butt are sore today.

I know a week in advance what my workouts will be. BUT that is only because my daughter has cross country practice at a park 2-3 days a week instead of the school. I plan my days so I can enjoy the time outdoors working out!

I jump rope when I have to...it is more burn with feet together than as a skip. Good luck!

I was a Coke Zero drinker...2 24oz bottles a day. I also drank water. Once I increased my water intake to where it should be...I lost all taste for Coke Zero. I drink my water plain unless I am at a restaurant, then I add lemon. Get rid of the soda..you will lose a few pounds just getting rid of it.

If you are "trying" then I suggest you talk with a doctor about this to make sure you are getting all of the nutrients your body NEEDS. If you already know you aren't eating enough fruits and veggies...then that is some of your problem. Good luck!

You are doing this for no one but yourself...set your goal...get your mini goals and don't look back. Be the person you want to be don't be swayed by those other people. Good luck with your journey!
