i would get a new battery and see if that helps. There should not be that much variance every time you step on the scale. If that does not help, I would invest in a new scale:(

i have come to the conclusion that i had to look at food differently. Food for me know is fuel with an occasional treat, but for the most part I have planned exactly what i will be eating that day. It may sound boring or regimented but when I think about how i disrespected my body, I had to come up with a new approach.…

How about learning good eating and exercise habit. I agree with the post about the dirt. It is like putting a band-aid on the problem, taking it off and expecting miracles. I keep saying, slow and steady wins the race!! That is my two cents:)

I equate tracking to keeping track of my finances. I would NEVER spend money without knowing if I have cash or money in my checking account. I don't spend huge amounts of time on my checking account but I do know where I stand. Why would I let my food be something I would not keep track of? Every time I go off tracking I…

I am a lifetime member of WW who got to my goal weight only to slowly gain it all back. I reached my goal before they changed the program to their current one, fruits free etc. I loved their program, but the cost, even their e tools is not free to lifetime members which I think is a mistake. I have found much better…

Thank you for sharing your addiction and congratulations on your sobriety!!

Wow, you look great!! You Have to feel so proud!!!

I totally agree with the other posts, try increasing your fruits and veggies, plus I would really try to add some lean protein to each meal. Plus try to have some almonds, string cheese, Greek yogurt as a snack. You should aim for smaller meals so that you are never starving yourself. Once you start eating a little more,…

Your body is saying "thank you" for the extra calories. Give it a while for your body to adjust and keep nourishing your body with good fuel.

What an exciting journey you have had!! I love how the light bulb went off for you, NEVER!!! You just kept going and now you look great!! Congratulations!!

I am a mom and my husband and I both work VERY opposite schedules. I know how hard it is to try to juggle everything. How new a mom are you? My son is now almost 5 and life is getting much easier. If your little one is very young, can you get to a gym that has a daycare center? My gym is AWESOME and my son loves to go (he…

Try a piece of fruit at about 9pm or when you feel hungry. It sounds weird, but it is filling and helps. I always eat one fruit at night and I have consistently lost weight doing this.

Without seeing your diary, it is hard to know. Define weekend cheating? Is it fri through sun or just one day? Also, it depends on what type of food you are actually eating. My food diary is open, have a look at it if you would like. I have been slow and steady with about a pound loss a week, but I am going in the right…

I too am an emotional eater. I hit my own rock bottom this year with my weight and decided to FINALLY do something about it!! That being said, I knew I needed help with my emotional eating. I read a book, "Eat and Grow Thin.". The author himself was very obese as a choice and teenage so he KNOWS what it was like to be…

I love Premier ready made shakes from Costco. They are really good, filling and easy to transport. They now have vanilla, but it is pretty sweet. The chocolate is my favorite.

Yuck!! I would rather be slow and steady eating real food and doing it the old fashioned way instead of starving myself. Learn good eating and exercise habits and the rest will fall into place!!

There are many variables, too much exercise, too many carbs or simple carbs. Open up your food diary and people can give you suggestions. I eat 1200 calories, but days that I am really active I have protein shakes or something healthy extra to supplement my calories. Feel free to look at my food diary to see what I am…

My gosh, you look fabulous!!! You should be VERY proud of your accomplishment. Enjoy your victory and your new life!!

Great job!! That has to feel really good!!

Wow, you look great!! Congratulations!!

First of all, I agree with a lot of the posts, you look great!! Looking at your food diary, I was wondering if you are a vegetarian? I don't see much or any meat or protein. You may want to up your protein levels, also things like regular pasta and pasta sauce quickly turn to sugar leaving you feeling hungry. Try switching…

I am 5'9 and my start weight was 179.4, now I am at 162. My goal weight is 145 althought I will see how I feel as I get closer to my goal. My husband does not me to be a stick, so I don't want to be too thin. I just have not been a normal weight in so long. I amfeelingmuch better shedding as much weight as I have. Hope…

Thanks for your inspiring story. I am really happy that you will lead by example to your patients. You will be able to empathize with them, yet be able to encourage them that there is a different way. I should. Be at my goal weight in 3 months and I see my primary doc for my yearly numbers. I cannot wait to see the look on…

A new wardrobe!!!!

I too am 5'9, and I set my goal at 145. When I was 25 I was in great shape and weighed 125; however I am now 45, a child later so realistically I think my goal is a little more obtainable. I will have to see how I feel once I get there if I want to lose more. I am just so happy to have lost the weight that I have lost!! It…

Wow, very inspiring!! You have to be so proud of yourself!!
-
That has to feel great!! Congrats on your hard work!!

Congratulations on wanting a new you!! You are headed in the right direction. I would say to you, break up your weight loss number into smaller chunks so it seems a little more obtainable. So, if you figure out how many weeks are in 260 days, you have 37 weeks until your cruise. That then means to reach your goal, you need…
