Congrats! You look great!

I will be running through the holidays. I actually am planning to be at the gym like normal. My goal is 4 days but if I make the usual 6 that's even better!

I have to start taking Imodium early in the morning before long runs.. and sometimes I have to take more than one. I carry it with me...just in case.

Definitely not worried. If there's anything I have learned through this whle process it's to not deprive myself or freak out over holidays. Enjoy and pick up where ya left off on Friday!

Hot to Trot 10k in Knoxville, TN on Thanksgiving.

I pay it no attention. It has not been accurate for me at all. BUT there are days when I have ran 10-13.1 miles.. I am not going to do that on a daily basis...how could I?? It actually bugs the crap out of me that that little ticker is even there.

The highest weight I remember recording was 233. I am sure I was heavier at the end of my pregnancies but at this point don't care. My current weight is 162! Thrilled with that but can't wait to be in the 150s (soon!!!).

Do not anything the night before or morning of that you have not eaten before a regular run. My go to meal before a race is a half an english muffin or piece of toast w/peanut butter. I try to eat at least 30-45 mins before I run.

Most of the kettlebell workouts I do are HIIT workouts. I typically log them under cardio as circuit training. It depends on the day and workout. I never do the same kettlebell workout in the same week.

It would probably be easier for me to list foods I like but wish I didn't. I don't like cottage cheese but sometimes wish I could stomach it. I have severe texture issues.

My grandmother passed a few years ago after a short battle with breast cancer. My dad was diagnosed last year with stage 4 colorectoral cancer. He's a survivor! Doing well and worked all through his treatment. A close friend's son has leukemia. He's 5 years old and was diagnosed 1.5 years ago. He is doing well but has a…

Ran a 5k on Tuesday after my BodyPump class. I am going to do a 5 mile tempo this evening. Marathon training begins Saturday. Easy 4 miles... I feel like that's such a short distance given the fact that I have already ran 3 half marathons but I am going to follow the training plan regardless.

Don't eat anything you haven't eaten before any other time you run. I typically stick with grilled chicken and a baked potato. Same thing for morning of. Nothing new. I eat a half english muffin or piece of toast with peanut butter. Good luck!! Have fun!

I've got a lot of the ones listed..... lol and a whole list of others. But I can totaly blame Hannah Montana and Miranda Cosgrove on the kids, right!?!?

Congrats! That is an awesome NSV!!! My fave thing to do is go run in a new pair of running shoes!! Enjoy!!!
-
Get fitted for shoes.

I am a huge fan of BodyPump. I typically burn around 500-600 in a class. I'm 164 lbs and wear a HRM. I also use heavier weights than most people in my class and am a sweaty beast when I leave, most people in my class are not. I think you can get a general idea of caloric burn range on Les Mills website though.

Mostly new running clothes because all my stuff is a bit big! I want some new cold weather, full length running tights. Running skirts, headbands, compression sleeves/socks.

I struggle daily with seeing my success. there are days that i do feel fat but mostly because I know I still have weight to lose and rather than seeing how much I have lost some days I focus more on what is still left to lose.

LOL right on with the name! I thought about that after... oh well. I still have my blog... maybe it will become "Mission 26.2 Mom" in stead of "Just Another Running Mom." Thank you everyone!

I take one full rest day. Sometimes I will take 2. On weeks I only take 1 I make sure I have one "light" exercise day where I don't go all out on effort.

Total surprise. I was out of town visiting my family for the weekend on Easter. I came home and he had me an Easter basket. I was going through the stuff and he told me to keep digging. Under the grass was a ring box. It was sweet.

This. Best advice for any runner.

My husband has severe asthma and allergies. I don't really have any advice other than I know he just "does it" and carries an inhaler with him. He uses it before he starts running and of course any time he feels winded. Just keep at it, you are doing great!!!
