  • -Bump- I've been tossing the idea of getting a Fitbit around, but I'm unsure what is best. I really want a HRM to get a better accuracy of the calories I'm burning and my heart rate, so I'm not sure what product to buy.

  • I'd love to be a part of this! :) It would be awesome to lose 10lbs by September.
  • Hey everyone! I'm 20 and going into my junior year of college. (3rd year) I joined MFP last summer and lost lets say 15lbs. I then went to school and gained it all back and then some, so now I'm back to do it all over again! My self mantra is that if I could lose weight last year, I can do it again this year! I know it's a…
  • I'm 19 and 5'4 on a good day. as I say. :) I started out a year ago at 156. And when I started using MFP a little less than month ago, I weighed myself at 149. And now I'm down to about 143. My goal is to be 130 again too. I am constantly looking in the mirror and sucking my stomach in, and imagining myself with that body.…
  • I play Just Dance 2 too! When I first started this website, I googled it, and I found that someone said that they figured it could be considered "aerobic dancing" and it's about 1 calorie per 10 sweat points. It was 9. some random numbers, but they rounded it to 10 to make it easier and accurate to aerobic dancing.
  • Well I've read/heard that you burn calories as you sleep. Your body is refueling itself while you're sleeping. So I would guess that is why you weigh less when you sleep more.
  • I love playing the Just Dance games. It's a good change from exercise equipment. I personally recommend those games, if you can keep up. They have songs for most genre and decades, like 80s, 90s, maybe the 70s. They keep you coming back by song interest and wanting to finally ace a song with perfect dance moves.
  • Yes. All the time. I blame my parents, I blame myself. I've had breakdowns before while I'm on exercise equipment. But there's nothing we can do about our past now, we can only change from it. We have the right mindset and motivation, so what's stopping you? Don't give up. I know it's hard, maybe even harder to be hearing…
  • What's everyone's opinion on the Slim Fast shakes? I've always wondered about them. And if one can use them, should they use them as an actual meal replacement shake? Is it even worth it? If I were to use them every now and then, I'd drink one and take a multivitamin. Is that a correct way to use the shakes to my advantage?
  • You're a young - adult! You're not considered too old yet :P
  • or eat any of the cafeteria food. My life would be better if I could just cook for myself. But no no, we must all have a mandatory meal plan.
