Anybody else feel this way?

I think I am deciding that Saturday should be my official weigh in day. Here is why. I wake up at 6:30am every other day of the week (including Sunday) and although I try not to eat past 7pm, I don't think my food is completely gone by 6:30 the next morning. So, since I sleep until about 9 or 10am on Saturdays, I am always lighter when I weigh myself in the morning. I think that extra 2.5-3hrs of sleep/waiting to weigh myself really makes a difference in my weight.
Anyone else notice this? It is like a pound different almost every time! I am hoping I see the same difference this Saturday when I weigh myself...is this cheating? Or is the proper way to track your weight...when you are most "empty"

I don't really think there is a "wrong" way of weighing yourself. Of course it's not really good to weigh yourself right after having lunch , cause that would definitely scare the crap out of us.
I think it's important to way yourself always on the same day at the same time to getting the right track.0 -
I weigh myself on the same scale, naked, first thing in the AM on the same day each week for my "official" weight in.
If it makes you feel better, switch days. No big deal.0 -
Yeah I agree with you guys. I always weigh in the morning before I eat. And I try and make my official weigh in day the same day. I am just wondering if I weigh on a day where I sleep in if that makes a difference. It seems to!0

I don't think there's a right or wrong way. I think just as long as you measure the same time of the day each weigh in, then you're good!0

Well I've read/heard that you burn calories as you sleep. Your body is refueling itself while you're sleeping.
So I would guess that is why you weigh less when you sleep more.0
