Go on this board, it has all the info floating about on there http://messageboards.ivillage.co.uk/iv-ukdfwwatcher/ and this one has a lot of your eat out and core points (it may be more suited to people in the UK though) http://www.ukladyluck.onthefirm.co.uk/

I'm doing WW, but I do it at home so I don't have access to their boards. Anyone can feel free to add me - it would be nice to have more people following WW xox

Yea, definitely. I'd say you've lost a good half of the excess that's in the stomach area. Well done!

Thanks for being so honest. I find this thread really interesting. I'm down 57.6lbs (just short of half of what I need to get off) and I'm noticing differences but still feel I look huge and find it hard to see the difference when just looking at myself in the mirror. I don't know how I'll feel when I get closer, but I…

Nope, it makes me want to snack all day long!

I get down like this sometimes when I can't buy the clothes I want because they'll look horrible on me, but now I just try to focus on the fact that it won't always be like this. I'm doing something about it now and eventually I will get there. I've spent years and years feeling this way, years piling on the weight and…

It's a myth that calories eaten at night are more likely to be turned to fat. You just need to eat less calories than you burn, regardless of when those calories are consumed. I hear that going to bed after having eaten can give you problems sleeping but that's about it. Perhaps if you had a larger breakfast/lunch and kept…

I like to come on here and get myself into a motivated, exercise state of mind. I think about all the reasons I want to be thin and why exercise is important or I like to watch things like a music video so I can look at the girls and imagine looking like them. I find motivation to exercise so hard though! I find a good…

My sister has a similar problem with chrones disease, when it flares up she has to take steroids and they make her put weight on. I read about a woman who did Slimming World who was told that because of her underactive thyroid she'd never lose weight, but she followed the plan and got to her goal weight, so it can be done!…

You can totally do that. I've lost 56.2lbs so far and it's taken me 7 months, but I have had the odd planned day (or week) off here and there. Good luck xox

Sometimes it's good just to get your 'bad' week out of the way so you can start fresh, but I'd probably weigh on the tues and then spend the week from the day after you go out to your next WI day to try and get it back down again. When I've had bad days I've done this and then still lost.

You're clearly gorgeous in all of the photos. I love your style.

Help! I've lost an air conditioner!

Even when I was 276lbs I always felt cold....if you're having this problem now, who knows what I'll be like when I get to goal.

Working in a hospital must get you loads of exercise, don't forget to count this! Perhaps get a pedometer, see how much you are walking and then try to up it bit by bit at work or when you get home. People say walking home or some exercise when you get home is a good way of destressing...particularly something like using a…

I set my goals within the amount of weight you're supposed to lose per week (so 1-2lbs) but at the higher end of what I think I can achieve so that I work harder to get there but that it's not so difficult that I get disheartended when I realise there is no way I'm going to reach it whatever I do. You don't want to be at…

Hi, Cellulite should reduce or even go if you lose weight and tone up areas, but as a previous poster says, some people get it some people don't and it's not just bigger people who have to deal with it. Generally you can improve the appearance though. As for the stretch marks, they won't go but tend to fade over time. I…

I do Weight Watchers and that is the only diet that has ever really worked for me long term. I've been doing it for 6 months with no slip ups, my previous best was about 3 days. I've lost 53.2lbs so far and have found it a lot easier than other diets. As most diets there are up sides and down sides, but I find that WW…

HI, I've got about 122lbs to lose in total. I started with a BMI of 42, which is morbidly obese. I'm now in the plain old obese category having lost 53.2lbs so far. It will have been 6 months on plan as of tomorrow. It seems like a lot, but it can be done. Just take it week by week and it disappears faster than you'd…

Thanks! I'll sort that tomorrow =)

I love this post! I'm from Liverpool too, but have also lived in Wales and speak some Welsh. Lush is also used a lot in Newcastle (where I went to University). We use some odd words here in Liverpool, but I don't use slang too much. I watch a lot of American TV so I've understood most of the words here but do find a lot of…

Congratulations. I would imagine that you would need more calories to help the baby to grow but that good eating habbits are still a good idea for good health of you and your baby. I've heard of other people losing weight while pregnant and I hear that Slimming World (if you have that) is a good one because you can eat…

I've had the same problem today. My calf muscle has felt a bit stiff after working out on my bike so I'm sticking to crunches and an upper body work out using weights. Good luck.

I've put down sedentry and then any exercise I do I add it to the exercise log so that it's not counted twice as it were. That way, any exercise I do is a bonus. Hope this helps!
