logging cycling?
Hi, I've been doing cycling on my stationary bike at home and I'm never sure what to enter it as on here in terms of effort. I did between 80 and 90 rpm for the majority of the time I was on the bike, would you say this was low, moderate, vigorous or very vigorous? Thanks in advance for your help

Mental budgets
This is another interesting article I found in Psychology Today - I find that this is what I do with Weight Watchers. I set myself a points value for the day, and an amount of that which I can use on treats and that helps me to stick to what I should be having. Setting mental budgets as a means of self-control Mental…

Kinect Sports or Your Shape?
I'm getting a Kinect bundle and I'm decided on Dance Central, but I'm not sure whether to get it with Kinect Sports or Your Shape Fitness Evolved. I like games and get bored easily. I like the idea of the Your Shape having the measuring, giving calories and having calorie goals but I worry that I won't like the serious…

High Heels and Weight Loss
Hi, This probably sounds like a really weird question, but.... I've always wanted to be able to wear pretty high heels but they kill my feet! I can hardly ever wear them and if I do, I get blisters after about 10 minutes (this includes wearing cushions in them that are supposed to stop this). My question is; has anyone…

Introducing my 50lb lighter self
Hi all, I've been a member of myfitnesspal for a while now but have never really used it as I do Weight Watchers and prefer to log points. However, I have started using the site more to help motivate myself to keep up the exercise part of the deal. I hate exercise and have been trying to force myself to do more. In doing…
