This is by far the BEST calorie counting website I've ever used. You'll LOVE it! :)

Well... I don't celebrate New Years Eve so I don't have resolutions per say. But I do have goals for this year!! 1) Lose the last 13 pounds to reach my goal weight. 2) Lose the rest of that "sagginess" under my butt (T.M.I. I know!!) 3) Finish flattening out my stomach. Those are my goals. We'll see how it goes! My best…

Let's see... I'll probably make lots of salads (maybe one with each dinner). I generally eat tuna with olive oil, carrots, and cucumbers once a week... Turkey soup... Brown rice with steamed veggies and free range chicken... Stuff like that! I generally don't have a ton of things planned out for the week but I usually have…

I live in Alton N.H. and apparently I'm the ONLY one on this site who lives in New Hampshire!! :)

I'm trying to lose 13 pounds for my best friend's wedding. She's getting married June 18th of this year and I'm her Maid of Honor (actually Matron of Honor because I'm already married). I had an original goal of losing 20 pounds for her wedding and I am 7 pounds towards my goal. We can do it!! It's hard now, but when that…

I totally agree with jrich1. Metabolism is HUGE and if you slow it down by not eating enough then you're going to plateau and/or gain weight. So get eatin' missy! :)

It seems like a long road ahead, but time flies by and before you know it you'll be at your goal and feelin' GREAT! Don't let the seemingly long road ahead discourage you! You can do it!! You've taken the first step and that is definitely something to be really proud of. You should give yourself a pat on the back! :)

Seeing pictures of myself at my best friend's mom's wedding shower was the first "thing" that did it for me. I looked like a blimp and I was so embarrassed. That "thing" helped me to lose 25 pounds. The second "thing" that did it for me was almost losing my appendix because I was eating so much yeast and I have an allergy…

I get the dvd's either at Walmart or on amazon.com. The calorie burn is pretty good. In 20 minutes I burn around 200 because it's high impact aerobics. I think it's pretty good.

I have the 3 mile workout, but my FAVORITE one is the 5 day workout (or something like that). There's a different workout for each day of the week. There's one that targets arms, one that targets legs, etc. I also have weights that I add to it sometimes and it is intense at times. :) Good to know I'm not the only one.

I know how you feel. I get Shape magazine in the mail each month, and one month there was a little snippet that said if you are sick or not feeling well, it's not good to push yourself to work out. They said you should take that day off or whatever and recuperate and then get back to working out as scheduled as soon as you…

I would recommend making your daily menu a little more interesting or varied. I find that I HAVE to eat varied foods throughout the day and then my mind isn't even on the food when I'm not eating.

My husband and I did a lot of research on the whole digital versus analog scale debate and found that digital scales are a way better investment then an analog. It has to do with the calibration. Digital scales are very accurately calibrated each time you turn them on and step on them. However with the analog, the…

I have about 15 pounds left to go to get to my goal weight. But I'm just so excited that I've lost 35 pounds already that I'm not even thinking about these last few pounds! Maybe focusing on how far you've come instead of what's left to lose will help? Of course... just wait til I hit a plateau and I come cryin' to all of…

Flames by Vast... I change it every time it comes on.

It's very easy to go over on protein... I do it all the time. Trying to stick to good meats and superfoods as sources of protein is best. Then when it comes to snacking, try to stick to non-protein items like vegetables, fruits, and whole grain crackers. Also, I try to pick one meal in the day to have a high dose of…

Olive oil is high in essential fats and healthy calories. Just one tablespoon has 120 calories. I throw it in a smoothie for my husband to up his calorie intake. It makes quite a difference!

I did the Flat Belly Diet awhile back and in 4 days I lost 3 pounds of water weight! I was so excited. By the end I'd lost about 8-10 pounds. It's so great to focus in on that area of the body and eat the foods that will fight visceral fat! :) Have fun with your diet and I hope it works out well for you!

Congrats on all of your hard work!!! You look smokin'! :)

I'm sorry you're disappointed in yourself! I know how much damage disappointment can cause to a person and their personal "issues" or whatever that they deal with. But don't let this stop you!! Keep going! Just start from where you are and KNOW for a certainty that you will get back to those 20 crunches sooner then you may…

Super! You must (and totally should be) really proud of yourself!! Keep up the good work! Soon you'll be telling us that your new problem is not fitting into the clothes that you just bought and having to go shopping again! :)

I feel for you, I really do! While my situation is not as drastic as yours is, I have dealt with similar things in the past. I have always been bigger then my 3 sisters and 1 brother... Now I'm married and for the first 4 years of our marriage my husband was always smaller then me (even if it was only by a few pounds). But…

Okay... this is gonna sound totally whacko and crazy... But anything that has little porous holes in it totally grosses me out. Crumpets, airy pancakes, etc. Anything that has those little porous holes I cannot get over! I totally know what you mean about those weird food issues that we grow up with. It's been like this…
