I have the opposite problem! I can eat healthy pretty easily, but I have a really hard time with formal exercise.

I buy the Gourmet Garden prepared herbs and chunky garlic, and I'll put whatever amount I want into a marinade bag with the chicken and fresh lime juice. Omg. It's so good!!

I love my George Foreman grill. We don't have an actual grill (apartment living), and for a quick "no added fat" way to cook, it's my fave. Also my non-stick skillets!

Yeah I've lost the weight before and because of health reasons gained a lot of it back. I already know the whole "find something you like to do" thing. Just looking for some new at home workouts to try. That's all!

Thanks!! It's good advice. And I totally get the concept of sticking to a routine and stuff. I just have a very hard time seeing results. I'm not making excuses, I swear. I have Lyme disease and a couple other issues that make it reeeeaallyyyy hard to lose weight. I did Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred for 6 weeks straight…

I'll be your friend! I lost 40lbs and managed to slowly gain it back... Partly my fault and partly not my fault. Anyways...I'm back to get this weight OFF!

I was just thinking that I need to "journal out" the feelings. I'm a big fan of art journaling so I may have to hit that up and detox my emotions onto paper. @SoozeE512

Thanks, guys!!

I'm only in stage 1. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who does it fairly quickly. It only takes me 35-45 minutes.

Buy a meat thermometer. That is the best tool for juicy baked chicken. Set the oven to 375, salt and pepper boneless skinless chicken breasts (and throw some garlic powder on too), and then check the chicken maybe 25-30 minutes after it's in the oven. Once it hits 160', take it out. It will be delicious and juicy!

But people... why eat ANY of those things when you can have homemade Pumpkin Pie???
-
I never have an appetite right after a workout. I usually don't feel like eating for about an hour after I'm done working out. At that point I get nice and hungry!

I'm definitely upping my veggie intake as of tonight because I've noticed that I've been less than diligent in keeping up with that. With fruit, it's difficult. Because of my allergies, I can't have much fruit, only berries and apples. Tomorrow I'm going to start my day with a strawberry smoothie complete with coconut oil…

I don't eat any wheat, ever. I have a severe yeast allergy, so I can't have wheat, corn, sugar, honey, molasses, yeast products, etc. It cuts out A LOT of food, which is kind of a blessing because it keeps me from munching on terrible things. :)

My eating schedule is pretty good. I was doing just fine eating 1400-1600 cals a day, and doing so throughout the day. My weight was fine and I felt great, blah blah blah. It's just that all of the sudden my body decided it wanted me to scarf food all day. Not cool! And the water thing is good. I do that, and I'm a big…

Good job!!! It's the small things that sometimes end up making us the most proud of ourselves. :) Keep 'em comin'!

My thoughts exactly. The whites AND the yolks are so good for you!

Chia Seeds are cool because they absorb liquid and become kind of gelatinous. So you can use them to make healthy puddings, to make smoothies, etc. They're really good for you too. :)

Hahaha. This was TOTALLY worth reading!!!

I took the loooong route. I established my goals, and then made small changes every day to reach those goals. So I began my weight loss journey in 2008, and reached my initial goal weight of 145 in the beginning of 2011. Sooo...about 3yrs. But the great thing is that, while it may have taken me awhile to reach that goal,…

I gave up all forms of sugar a little over 2 years ago. While I did it for health reasons (allergies), it has helped me a lot and I've found it to be very beneficial (i.e. I'm not as fatigued, I lost a lot of weight quite easily, I'm not addicted to sweets anymore). Now, I don't eat honey or molasses or agave or anything…

I dealt with the saaaame issue. I think when I started losing weight, I became aware of who I was and who I had been. When I was heavy, I knew I was heavy, and I lived a life that contributed to me being heavy. But when I stopped living that life, and started living the life of a healthy person, I wasn't yet a healthy…

Haha. This quiz was wicked easy! And kinda funny. To lose weight faster should you... Sleep More or Sleep Less? Really? It was fun though. I like little things like that. :)

Height: 5' 6" HW: 185lbs CW: 145lbs LW: 139lbs Goal: I don't really have one for weight. I'm starting a new workout program, and whatever my body decides to weigh is good with me. :)

Yeah I noticed that...I was just looking into it and there's like...a 5 minute video on why taking stacks is better. But I'm pretty smart about supplements and stuff. I've been a big advocate for supplements for a long time and I've done my fair share of research into them. So I'm not swayed by anything like that. I really…

My husband uses bodybuilding.com. I forgot about that one...I'll check that out! Thanks! :)

I had a bunch of goal clothes that I would hang up on the back of my bedroom door, and when the day came that they fit me, or were too big...it was amazing! I highly recommend goal clothes! It's worth it! :)
