I did very well on this. And the last 2+ months - and using MFP and FitBit - helped. Nice.

The water one kills me. I should only drink water moments before eating? Really? How about dealing with the food issue rather than replacing it with another?
The carbs one is ridiculous.0 -
"Less than 10% of your calories should come from saturated fats, say government dietary guidelines. Replace butter and processed foods with more healthy polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats, like olive oil, cold water fish, tofu, avocado, and small amounts of nuts."

I think what they are saying is that if people go years and years without weighing themselves they aren't aware of how much they have gained. Like me. I used to just go by how my clothes fit, but would get lazy and just buy new ones season to season - 5 years later I was 35 pounds larger without really being aware of it. If I had weighed once a week I would have been AWARE of how much I was gaining and less ignoring it. Even though I've been maintaining now for 5 months, I still weigh once a week to keep tabs on things...0 -

Referring to the weighing yourself often...it is important, at least monthly, but not everyday...it depends what often means! And not all people can judge weight loss without a scale!0 -
