I was actually having the same problem a month ago....couldn't get enough of my sweet treats - the "monkey" was definitely clinging to my back! Ate a whole Pepperidge Farm Double Chocolate cake in 2 sittings....in 2 days! A friend of mine here gave me a challenge for the month of June - to keep my carbs to 100g/day &…

I did that one in Minneapolis this past summer - was fun! LOTS of walkers as there are lots of sights to stop and see & many photo ops along the way. Have fun and good luck!!!

^^^^ At 12 my cat developed a thyroid disorder and then at 16 developed diabetes and chronic renal (kidney) failure. None of these things you want to mess around with & when a cat doesn't eat for several days, their organs begin to shut down. Get him in to see the vet ASAP.

I log in each & every day (approaching day 1,000 very soon) - this is where I find people who "get me" AND my struggles! Feel free to add me if you wish!

That's sad that everyone has bailed.....the friendships I've developed here have been key to me sticking with it! Everyone needs friends! I log on every day (actually approaching my 1,000 day on 4/15) - so if you're interested in adding me to your crew - feel free to send me a request. Best of luck!!

From one Minnesotan to another & as a fellow MFP-er nearing my 1,000th day - WELL DONE!!! I enjoyed readng your post - very inspirational! What an amazing accomplishment!

Not desperate at all! I've been on for nearly 3 years and still struggle from day to day, but I wouldn't still be here if it weren't for the support & motivation from my great group friends - they keep me going! Feel free to add me!

Chin up girl ~ onward and upward! I'm on every day, so friend me if you wish! :)

Balls to the wall - that's my strategy! Started w/my food diary & water intake today and then will begin my exercise regimen come Monday (need the weekend to put a plan in place)! No looking back! Good luck!!

Hi there! I've been on MFP for 2-1/2 years now - started here with 10 lbs to lose (after losing 30 and regaining 10). I got as close as 3 lbs from my goal and now as the new year begins, I find myself 14 lbs from goal. It's been a struggle, but I'm bound and determined to finally get back to goal this year and stay there!…

Welcome to MFP, Jon! Thanks for opening up & sharing your story ~ I think we can all relate to it on some level. I wish you the very best on your journey to what I hope is a very happy, healthy, active life!

One a week girlfried or you will drive yourself bonkers!!! And measure, measure, measure!

No time like the present Amy! Looking forward to joining you on your journey. You CAN do this!!!

I just this morning cleaned out my box o' friends to make room for more supportive/motivating people. In my opinion - it's a two-way street - I support/motivate in return. Feel free to add me if you'd like. (And kudos on the 52 lbs thus far - so awesome!)

It's all I eat - no plain ol' oatmeal for me anymore! Trader Joe's has a great "quick" cook that I just pop in the microwave in the a.m. before heading to work - 5 minutes TOPS! I add 1 Tbsp. of almond butter, a tiny box of raisins, a packet of Truvia & a sprinkling of cinnamon - SUPER easy and extremely tasty! An…

Hi Serena ~ WELCOME! I've been keeping a food & exercise journal for several years now - 1st the WW-way (points) and now am keeping "track" via MFP (celebrating 1 year today!). Feel free to add me if you'd like!

I would agree with this.......I suffer from this from time to time and it CAN be debilitating. Fill a Gatorade bottle (or a plastic bottle with nubbies) with water - freeze and then roll under your foot for a good 5 minutes multiple times a day - this should help. I'd cease running though, for a while AND get better…

#4 is the most flattering in my opinion - makes your waist look tiny!

Love it!!!

In 90 days???? That's FAN-FLIPPIN'-TASTIC!!!!!

I don't think it's rude at all. There are certain things that I can't eat because I know that they'll cause problems a little later and I've learned to just take a pass at those foods, certain restaurants, etc. I don't worry anymore about what others think - I just concentrate on me, and what makes my belly happy. On many…

Sounds like you have a great plan in place ~ that's a big step!! There is no time like the present to begin concentrating on YOU! For years, I too put everyone above myself. I finally realized a few years ago that I wasn't as happy as I could be, or SHOULD be. I also realized that I was the only one that could do something…

Embrace it - keep it natural!
