My family eats out to much and I can't control where we eat. - I learned I can always find something in my calorie budget ;)

You can have your hormones unbalanced and fix that without a hysterectomy. I don't believe she was recommending one for the OP. It could be a combination of you actually needing to lose another pound or two to get the look you want or poor diet. Sodium can really make you bloated.

For me...I simply didn't want it bad enough. I always justified it with "I already lost x pounds...it won't kill me to just eat this." or "it's a special occassion." Ever since I started Insanity and I have my count down along with my trip to California planned I crave food but it's not worth it to me. I'm having a Zaxby's…

I plan on tracking maintance for about a month after I'm "done." After that I'll continue to weigh-in every week and when I see the scale move then it's back to tracking, plan and simple. I want to learn how much and what to eat. I want my body to be able to "feel" whether I need to eat or not.

Because when I was 135 pounds and didn't care I found myself at 162! When I got back down to 143 I said "At least I'm not 200 pounds" and found 10 pounds again. I personally don't care if you're happy at 170 or 130, that is your choice. I'm wanting to lose a few pounds and gain muscle because I have fitness goals. I want…

I just wanted to say CONGRATS! and good for you to still track your food during pregnancy. I know so many women who think they need to eat for two and gain 50-80 pounds because they don't realize you only need a few extra calories a day.

All I can say is some popping is normal and won't cause injury...BUT make sure your form is right! If you are worried about the weight on your knee do wall squats with a ball. There are also different types of squats (wide stance, change the angle of your feet, etc) that will focus different muscles around the knee and…

This tells me it's more mental that physical. I agree with strength training but I thinking your underlying problem is not what you look like but what you think you look like.

This!!! For my fiance it was a month of dates (usually 1-2 a week) before I made that committement. He was ready our second date but I was having fun dating other guys (I had only been divorced about 10 months and back in the dating world for about 4 months).

Yep, I do Insanity. In 59 days I'll start running again too.
-
Try Jeff Galloway's walk/run method. You might be suprised at how fast/far you can go. I averaged a 12 min mile for my last half marathon and never ran more than 30 seconds (til I hurt my knee on the 12 mile but that was due to uneven pavement and not paying attention).

Yes! If you are sore it's water weight. Also, it could be extra sodium you ate, hormones factoring in, and a million other things. Just keep going!

It really depends on the place and what you order. I ate at Chili's yesterday - half the fried cheese appitizer, a 6oz steak, and broccoli was about 600 calories. I polished off my plate and felt full and happy. 1 burger there is about 1,300 calories WITHOUT fries. You eat half of that and you're not going to be completely…

You can be social without constantly eating unhealthy. If you go to the movies you don't have to have popcorn, throw a water and apples into your purse. If you stop at DQ check out their smoothies which so much better than their blizzards. It's the little things like that. All places to eat have decent meals...if you know…

It's hard to say...I only do it with a couple of shirts but they have pretty decent built in bras (like actual wire and padded type cups). I've been known to wear a dress that doesn't look see through in the house but is outside in the light. Thank God my mom caught it. Now anything I wear I test out in the sun before I…

I'm 5'4 and my goal is 130. I have more of a "look" (I WANT TO SEE ABS!) so it will probably change...I just needed a "goal weight" for my ticker lol.
-
Or just add all the calories up and divide by 8.
-
It does sound low...I burned just under that with cardio recovery. My first two days were 400-450. I would double check your settings and make sure that the strap is tight. I always put water on mine to give me a better reading (vs dry takes forever for it to start reading).

I'm so tired I had to read and re-read both statements to figure out the difference lol. I kept reading "I just pooped" too. Now I forgot what the OP was about so I'm going to go eat and go to bed. Good night all!

I think a bowl of cereal is going to win...now off to go buy some cereal (ran out yesterday) and milk (ran out today)
-
some canned veggies, refried beans, and some cherries...I seriously need to go shopping! lol

I lost 20 pounds and gained 10 of it back over several months. I didn't realize how much weight I had lost til I gained again. It's a mental thing for sure! I can tell differences in pictures though.

Chicken with some BBQ sauce and corn...but I'm still 500 calories short so I'm looking for another quick fix "dinner" lol

Thank you!

There are A LOT of people who see a "gain" in the first month. It's normal! Just keep going with it and I promise you'll love it after month 2! I started my first week and I'm up 4 pounds today. It's just your body trying to adjust

I would kill someone! Heck, I threaten to kill people by lunch if I haven't eaten.
-
I do because my weight changes so much and for a month I was only weighing in once a week with NO CHANGE. But once I started weighing myself every day I realized how much it changed every day and where 152 was the LOW end of my range, it's now the HIGH end of my range...make sense?
-
wow, really? (I need a smiley banging his head on a wall)

ME! I lost 20 pounds on MFP then started dating my fiance last year. I stopped logging and went back to old habits from my previous marriage of trying to solve everything relationship wise with food. I found myself 10 pounds heavier and now planning a wedding. I WILL get to my goal weight before I get married (I have time,…
