So I can't say that I peeled THAT much, but I did have some very dry skin around the mouth. Results? In terms of expectation: 2/10, realistically probably more of a 4. Basically, not even close to the dramatic change that I expected. I know my estetician will recommend follow ups, but I'm just not convinced that it's worth…

There are options for vegan mushroom gravy that are actually better than a bland turkey one!
-
Second that! Tofurky isn't all that bad!
-
Awesome!! I'm in a similar boat... I have a just a bit extra that I would like to tame. I know it's both, but if you had to chose, which do you think played the biggest role for you, diet or exercise?
-
Day two: the peeling started! Is mainly on my chin and around my nose.
-
Don't give up, whatever "bad" you've done you can always undo. I am constantly going back and forth too, and I think you'll find that most people give themselves some slack. Just take it one day at a time!

Resisting makeup is going to be hardest, for sure. I have both liquid and pressed powder, but I'll try to resist!! Just took a "before" pic, so anxious for the peeling to start already!!

Hey, I'm the biggest sis about my face (I can't even use normal "rough" scrubs) and if I can do it- anyone can!

Honestly, I'm not sure, but I don't think it was anything too concentrated. I bonded w/ her the first time I went: I could tell that she is passionate about making people look their best, so I just trust her methodology. I should be a bit more involved, especially in case, I need a repeat procedure! :p

SECOND THAT!!! <3

Well, some people have legit reasons I'm sure. Acne scars we can't see, maybe. Whatever floats your boat, man.[/quote] Yup. Acne, acne scaring, some sun damage and light aging were all a concern. I'm getting ready for a big adventure out to Australia for a year, so just wanted to look my best B) also, my esthetician…

You must be a tough cookie! My eyes watered and it looked like I was crying when I finally left the room.
-
LOL!!! Now I'm tempted to watch it!!
-
I definitely prioritized it in my budget this month.
-
I think it's different for everyone, and also depends on the type that you get. I can update ;)

I was wondering the same thing all day actually :D

:p

Yeah! It burns! Luckily, the pain doesn't last long, but my nerves were going! Are you considering one?
-
I've never thought it that way- you're right! It's a personal struggle - each person can only help themselves at the end of the day, and deserve all of the credit then too.

I like raising my arms up- it's an empowering fun pose, and usually gets rid of the stitch (even if just temp). It gets better after a while ✔️

"Work out harder" - random angry guy on my running trail

When I notice this pattern, I plan an outing for the fourth day, I would rather "be bad" w/ a delicious beer & company than at home feeling sorry for myself. The trick is go straight to bed when you get home- no delay or you risk snacking. I don't know if this would work for everyone, but helps w/ my dopamine withdrawals x)

Plenty of rest, you'll be fine. Six days before, you shouldn't be running at this point anyway. I interrupted my training program midway w/ a bike accident, and still pulled off my first half in oct. One thing for sure: if I could do (no matter how slowly), anyone can

I think you may be predisposed to this shape... like me! I'm not sure how truly helpful these will be, but they feel amazing on my waist. Figure out how to correctly hold a "side angle" pose (your armpit needs to be slightly turned out, with your chest reaching up) and the "triangle" pose. The point is to stretch your…

I'm starting again too. Starting again is hard, but you should be proud that you're finding the courage! I know that I am! I've also quit smoking a while ago. It will be exactly one year on the 15th of this month. I can't imagine going back to tobacco. YUK! So, let's take a sec to celebrate this HUGE achievement! Yay! I…

This might be beside the point, but if you are really worried about snaking during the "me" time, try planning ahead and running a bath for yourself. Or painting your toes (no has to see it!), or something that somehow, makes you admire yourself even more. I try to do this, but it's not always easy. Stretching is one of my…

Totally agree that it's important to portion and differentiate between good and empty calories. My solution is to cook at home, whenever possible: no nasty surprises, but does take quite a bit of effort!

OMG: you want the most recent one, right? Chicken wings!

A friend of mine got the surgery about half a year ago, and so far so good. There were some ups and downs in terms of expectations, but most importantly she's made some huge changes in her lifestyle. There is just no better way to put it, it's everything from what time you go to bed, to the things you eat, to where you…
