My first goal was 10% of my body weight which was 33 lbs at which point I set a new goal of 10%. I know I have a lot of weight to lose but it seems to help me to look at the smaller goal more so than the total as a goal. If I look at the total it seems insurmountable, but 10% seems doable!

It's not unreasonable to vent, I would feel the same way. My advice is help them but tell them upfront you have to pay for parts and supplies. or he could quote them a "half price offer" which would include parts and labor. You do it for free and it gets around people expect it, so don't put yourself in that situation…

Your body is a trickster, if you don't eat enough calories for your current weight it goes into starvation mode and stores what you do eat therefore, halting your weight loss. Follow the recommended calories MFP says to eat and you will see the weight start coming off.

As a binge eater my self, the only help I can offer is to for you to evaluate why you are binge eating. If it is because you deprive yourself then work out a compromise. Maybe allow the food but in a very small portion that will allow you to keep working toward your goal. if you can't figure it out. seek professional help

Robbin, I don't know much about diabetes. but I would suggest you see a dietitian and they will help you with what to eat. I have been lucky not to get it as I weigh 296. I have set up fitness pal and have tried to stay under my calorie count and walk every day. I try and eat fruits and vegetables and not stay away from…
