  • UPDATE: I've weighed myself again and I'm actually down 5lbs! So...I guess I'm doing it right. The biggest difference in this current weight loss attempt is a greater amount and frequency of exercise. So the exercise/water rention seem like the culprit. Thanks a million for all your input! :-)
  • Thank you! I'll keep at it. I suppose patience isn't a virtue I possess.
  • Yes it is new to me. I mean, I've jogged/walked in the past (I'd do 3 miles maybe 3 times a week, but that was over a year ago) but not nearly this much as the last 2-3 weeks (5 days a week for 45 min total.) (I just logged 5 pistachios and I even logged a life saver) - I weigh or…

Typically, I do that anyway. I'd rather save my calories for a nice, healthy meal and a couple of evening beers than spread it out over the…
  • The diet coke is probably worse for you than the smoking or drinking! Of course, I'm a coffee and tea drinker too. I still get my caffeine when I need it. I'll drink a bottle maybe 3 times a week if I'm feeling really hungry and want that "full" feeling to get me through til dinner. It's like anything (alcohol, etc.), you…
  • Very Cool! I would love to have a dude's perspective. While taking this journey with my fiance' has been very productive, having an objective, male voice available for support and advice is welcome! Thanks!
