Feel free to add me! Looking for like-minded friends to keep the motivation up. I'm in my 40s, have a toddler, need to lose 20lbs (to start, baby steps).

I don't log them only because I consider them freebies... they also probably make up for the less than accurate food calories. I only log if I break a sweat (yardwork) or purposly excercised (treadmill).

Sigh... Eric Dane... sigh....

I dealt with that when I started on here. Same thing, SO didn't want to do anything or change his habits. So I set a good example. Challenged myself. When he noticed the hard work that I was putting in and the weight that I was dropping he slowly got interested. Now, he's on the elliptical every morning and watching what…

Make sure to buy the low fat or 0%. Otherwise the fat content can be crazy... I go with cereal. Shreddies, Cherrios, Mini-wheats. Use milk but don't drink it at the end to save a couple cals. Egg whites are a good option like mentioned. Add whatever veggies and an 30g of cheese and your good to go! Oh, I also love…

Tall girls UNITE!!! I'm 6'2"... have about 15lbs more to lose (lost about 20lbs so far). Feel free to add me if you like... :o) ***My reply to the overused, unimaginary, annoying volleyball/basketball question is "No, do you golf cuz your short?". Shuts them up every time!!! :o)

I work out at home out of sheer convenience. I wasn't too good at doing yoga at home but since I bought an elliptical I've been on it all the time! Maybe try writing out a pros and cons list and see what adds up.

My fav is the baked potato soup! Yum! The Black Bean Brownies are awesome too... I make mine in little muffin tins so they turn out like those 2 bit brownies you can buy at the store, I add a couple chocolate chips to each one! I think there only 50 cals a pop too...!

Haha... that's what I was thinking... I would be so pissed if someone said that to me... He's obviously self centered and an @$$hole. Jerk...

Yup, I need to keep honest with myself. I am still going to endulge but I am going to prepare myself for the results and the numbers. I also said that I will cook Christmas dinner so I can control what I make and what goes in it (thank you Skinnytaste.com!)

My mom always told me "starve a fever, feed a cold". You need nutrients to fight off the bugs when you have a cold. Eat healthy and drink lots of fluids (tea is a good option)... get your rest too, sleep when you feel tired but still get your exercise and stay active.

I eat Liberte 0%MF. I usually buy vanilla and mix it in with my smoothies but the strawberry and blueberry ones are great too. I like the Liberte because it's fat free and greek yogurt usually has a higher fat content. I agree with all the fruit, granola and nut replies, it's yummy with all of the above.
