Hi Shredders! Just finished Level 1, Day 9 and felt today that I'm ready to move on to Level 2. Mentioned in another thread that I did the Shred once before and got incredible results after just 18 days. I didn't lose a lot of weight but I think the inches can't be denied. Take a look for yourself and be encouraged to plug…

This is my second time doing the Shred. I got fantastic results the first time around in April and am looking for similar results again! Today was my 3rd day. I plan to do it straight through.

What bobie1978 said. Could be a deprived-so-I'm-gonna-rebel feeling.

If it's that much of a problem where you skip the good stuff next to your bed and head straight in for the bad stuff, I'd get it out of my house completely. Set yourself up for success by not having it around in the first place. I completely understand the sweet tooth - there is sweets drawer in my kitchen but I can stay…

From one 5'3"er to another, you look FABULOSO!!

I'm not an expert but I read that this can happen. You should give it two weeks. Also, if your diet wasn't giving you enough calories before and then you suddenly start eating them again, your body gains at first while your metabolism figures things out. I personally used the zig zag method to break a plateau that I was…

I had to respond to this because just this morning I looked in the mirror and a thought a pretty similar thought to your subject line. I am a grown woman, living as a missionary in another country but soon will return "home" to the States for a visit this summer. I will be bombarded with candy aisles, packaged foods galore…

Weight fluctuation comes with the losing weight "game". I just read yesterday about a member on here that lost over 200 lbs starting in the 500's. She had some "stalls" along the way but just kept plugging along. Just hang in there and don't quit doing what you're doing. The math and science behind eating less and burning…

I've been using the zig zag method for a few weeks now and it really has worked for me! I used this calorie calculator to give me some parameters... http://www.freedieting.com/tools/calorie_calculator.htm Once you enter your info, if you scroll down you'll find the 7-Day Zig Zag... it suggests to you what you should do per…

Awesome! You look wonderful!! Love the pink too!

Wow, I can't believe all these kind comments. It's so encouraging to me that I could encourage someone else. Keep up the good work and let's see some "before and afters". :)

The measurements were exactly what I was wondering about. I am one of the people that is the LAST to notice changes with my body. I guess I sorta refuse to believe it's happening to me. I'm so glad I took Day 1 pics AND measurements. That stuff doesn't lie... and it's not just me that sees it. It's all of YOU amazing and…

What I do is move on.... a wise person in my life said.... "success isn't how long you stand up (or don't fail or don't overeat).. it's the amount of time it takes you to stand up after failing." I say don't punish yourself by doing 12 gazillion hours of workout videos... Drink some water, go take a walk, take a hot…

Ha ha! I *did* notice. *blush* Thanks for the comments!

Thanks, Kelly! I've been doing it every day for 18 days with only one day off right at the beginning... I think it was the 3rd day. I don't do any other workouts... Jillian is enough! LOL! :)
-
Never have done a workout video before and Jillian brings me near tears with her "I want you to be GURGLING your heart"... but as you can see, it works. :) And WOW, you guys are SO supportive and amazing with all your comments! Thanks!! You made my night!

Um, der.... how the heck do I get my pic to post?

Look at that waist! Great job, girl!

When I did WW, I lost 40 lbs without a stitch of exercise. I only counted points. So, I would say yes, it can be done. But when I stopped WW, the weight crawled back on. I think if exercise had been a part of my weight loss, it wouldn't have been so easy for the weight to come back on once I stopped. Your metabolism…

Keys idea ----> Some running shorts have a kangaroo velcro pouch-ish type pocket. Most of my Nike shorts have them. That's where I store the keys. Also, I've tied my keys into my shoelaces. Might be a little annoying if you have a bunch of keys, but for a few.. it works.

Can't see the "after" pics.

Great job on the weight loss so far! Found a calorie calculator which shows you how you can zig zag your calories.. eating more one day and less on the other but at the end of the week you will eat the same amount of calories. I echo another writer.. perhaps your body is used to what you're doing. Maybe you need to "trick"…
