  • Local running shoe stores usually know the local races and even organize their own races and weekly group runs.
  • Agree...EAS lean at Walmart. Better made with skim milk than water.
  • Gym! It is a super motivator when everyone around you is working hard too. Also, I love instructor led classes...they don't let me slack!
  • Both. In the wee hours of the morning I don't want to be out in the dark so I do the treadmill. On the weekend though I would go outside and it seemed a little tougher. Treadmill for consistancy and outside to enjoy the scenery.

  • I've read that morning is best as it gets your metabolism going to burn for the rest of the day. Also, if you exercise first thing the rest of your day won't interferre with squeezing in a workoutl. Looks like you are doing great, keep it up!
