My weigh-in - 152 lbs. Up from taking a weekend with the hubs. First in 3 years!! Most likely water weight since I ate out (sodium) and really lacked on my h2o. :) finally back home to m food scale and can prep my own meals :) have a great week everyone!!!!

Thank you again!!! I've been doing mostly whole grains, fruits and veggies. Steady weight loss so I will stick with what's working. I'm feeling the best I've felt in years and I just started last month!!

Good to know! I don't workout till my kids nap and follow it up with a whey protein shake. I'm just afraid I might be getting too many carbs on my diet. I checked out my weekly progress pie chart and it showed 55% carbs and the fats/proteins were even.

This should be a "mandatory read"! Thank you!

I have told a few family members and suggested the site to a few people. I had my second child 14 months ago. One friend I have is a classic "one upper". I'll let her see the change when I see her. This is me taking control of my life :)

Thank you. Only meant to start one thread, not sure why two popped up :(
-
Thank you! Now... let's see if I did it right!
-
Same here... how do I add it?

Thats great! I love how easy is to keep track of foods with this site/app. Those DVDs sound great! I just started "ripped in 30" and it's showing me just how out of shape I am. Feels great afterwards though. Let me know how the workouts are. :)

I bought the balsamic vinaigrette and it's "ok" but I find myself reaching for my 59 cak/2 tbsp ranch. It's an interesting flavor and a little goes a long way. Not bad though.

Hmm... Just noticed a weigh-in on my 30th birthday. No pressure right? Lol

Maybe we could post a before and after later.

I would love to join!! I log in daily! SW - 158 CW - 151.5 GW- 135 NSV- to be in more "fit" than I was before I had my babies!

I'm no expert but I was not working out anywhere as much as you and eating 1200 cals for 2 weeks with no results. I added more healthy calories (1500 a day) and the weight and inches are coming off. If I exercise, I eat back about half of what I used up so my body does not feel deprived. Calculate your bmr and determine…

Good job! My friend is a sales manager for Medifast and says it's a great system!

I grow Romas and grape tomatoes. You can add bell pepper, onion and cilantro to make. Pico de galo (sp?) or I cut my Romas up rinse away seeds, chop them up and let them simmer on the stove. When they soften up I just purée in my magic bullet and season to taste. The homemade salsa (pico) is a great condiment!

They are very good. Even my 2 year old wants bites :)

FYI- the noodles are good BUT be prepared for a "fishy" smell when you open the package. The smell will go away as you rinse the noodles thoroughly.

Wow...after 2 babies in 3 years I "thought" I was a 38D but apparently I need to go try on some 36DD bras! Crazy!
-
I'm glad you posted this! I had been doing 1200-1300 cals the past two weeks while chasing 2 toddlers. I decided last night to check my BMR and up my calories to 1700. Number 9 confirmed I made the right move.

Airpop some popcorn at home, pop it in a ziplock baggie and go :)

Bump :)

Ha ... I didn't have any weights today so I grabbed... wait for it.... 2 - 18oz squeeze containers of Dukes Mayonnaise! ha... just a lb.. a little lite but better than nothing. My 2 year old daughter had them in her hands and was attempting squats before I laid her down for her nap.

Now that I am eating low cal I just slice it thin, or make long thin strips with a veggie peeler. I use my "spray olive oil" just a spray or two, add garlic, salt, pepper and saute on low. It will cook very fast. You could do the same thing with a little water to help "steam" it.

Ok yall, I just did the first workout! It was tough for me towards the end but now I feel incredible. Love it even more than the 30 day shred. Put the kids down and it flew. I love how she switches it up for every circuit. Now, time for a shower and my protein shake while the babies sleep. Let me know what you all think!
-
Awesome timing!! Just got home from the store :) can not find the "30 day shred" I bought after I had my daughter in 08. I found this and decided to go with it! I'm planning to do it during nap time in an hour or so. I am on board! To all doing the workout add me :) Good luck!

I actually put my cooked lean ground beef in the strainer and rinse away any fat I can! Last night I did sloppy joes for my family, kept out part of the meat and made myself a low cal "taco salad".

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up :)
