IMO BMI Is a crock of crap! Seriously, I know people who do crazy fitness and are so healthy its unreal, but their bmi is high because they weigh more than they should!

I'm fat because my parents are fat, and we were quite poor so I was fed processed junk food as a child, coupled with depression, emotional eating, PCOS, and IR.

Forgive me for intruding. I am pretty much certain that I am diabetic. I am waiting to see my doctor, the earliest they have an appointment is a week on Thursday. Have any of you ever almost fixed your diabetes through fitness and weight loss?

FYI we're not all like that! I dont take breaks at all apart from my lunch break! I smoke 1 cigarette in my 8 hour 15 minute day. Don't tar us all with the same brush.

I had Orlistat, for a month, lost a lot of weight, BUT the second I came off it, it all came straight back on. I didnt like it, it made me feel scared to eat ANYTHING, even healthy foods. Won't ever do it again, slow and steady wins the race every time.

WOW Thats 125pw... thats crazy. Where do you shop? We spend about £50-60 pw but thats slowly on the rise, the more we are getting better with eating.

Yeah lots of sugar in a banana, I adore them for the energy they give me though... I'm gonna research and still have 3 a day, but aim for 3 lower on the GI scale than a banana :) Man PCOS has ruled my life for 7 years now, I'm about ready to be completely done with it forever!

I REALLY struggle with the whole eating less fruit thing... Today already I've had a banana with natural yoghurt for breakfast, and a banana with my salad at lunch, and I've got an apple for about half 3, because I wont get to eat until 6-7pm. How'd you do it?
