Great work, Jeanine Page! I love that you took another pic standing next to your boyfriend's sister. Quite a transformation. Keep it up in the new year. alexluevano19-impressive 1- work in 6 months time. Much older (and shorter) than most of you on this thread- I'm 52 and 4'10" (not many forums for the under 5 foot crew).…

Wow! Nice work !! just think of the amazing transformation when you get to your goal. This should be wonderful motivation.

Thanks for sharing- saving for later.

If you're perimenopausal- check out the Group Near or Post Menopausal. There's not always a lot of activity, but there's already many posts about losing weight during this time. I find more weight bearing ( I do Jillian Michaels dvds) exercises alont with some cardio have made more impact than pure cardio. If you've cut…

You may need to make some modifications for the plank moves because of your hand. There's a lot more planks in Ripped in 30 than 30 day shred. The nice thing is every circuit introduces different moves so you can choose something else to replace planks until your hand can handle it. Good luck and welcome.

Those sound like great suggestions. I'm doing ripped in 30 lvl 2 right now- I tried to do lvl 3 and it was way too hard for me. So I think I'm going to go back to lvl 2 and 3 of 30 ds (did them 2 years ago) and then try lvl 3 and 4 of ripped in 30. I think you have to keep it fresh with JM because it can get a bit…

Congratulations! You are amazing and inspirational. You prove that slow and steady and common sense will serve you well.

ProgressNotPe and Pennystextile- I'm a teacher, too. I hope to keep up with JM workouts early in the am if I can. One reason I like these workouts is they are short enough to squeeze in before work or in the evening. Unfortunately, our first day of school this year is a Monday- so it will be a very long week.

Just did ripped in 30 lvl 2 day 5- feel like I"m doing better day by day- BUTTTTT!!!!! all the plank moves are still my challenge. I'm debating whether to move on to lvl 3 tomorrow or do one more lvl 2. I'm trying to get in as much exercise before a mini vacay next week.

I'm 4"10" and currently 127 pounds. A few weeks ago I started using myfitnesspal after a few years hiatus. Of course, the weight I had worked so hard to lose had crept back on. I'd love a few friends that are vertically challenged since my supportive husband is 6'1". I have to eat below the 1200 calorie threshold…

There's 2 support groups I'm aware of -Jillian Michael Workouts and JILLIAN MiCHAELS WORKOUT GROUP. Somehow I joined both! There's people on each doing Ripped in 30 and other JM workouts

Great job! Relish your accomplishment because as you know Jillian she'll set you back a bit on the first day of the next level. I'm doing ripped in30 now and started level 2 two days ago and had to take an unanticipated day rest.

MIne is my hips and behind. I am very pear shaped and would like to get in better proportion. Lots of time clothes are very loose at the waist and fit at the hips and behind.

I'm glad I'm not the only one going over sugar. I've had a watermelon in the fridge and have been eating a little bit all week. That greatly increases my sugar intake.

marinated with lemon, rosemary, and thyme is one of my favorites. Thanks for the great suggestions for variations.

Thanks for the great suggestions- just bought a deviled egg plate yesterday!

Oh, no! Is this what I have to look forward to in lvl 3. Planks and pushups are killing me in lvl 2. Does she give the upper arms a bit of a rest on lvl 3 and focus more on legs? I do like the variations of moves and the warmups in ripped in 30- much less repetitive than shred.

I'm under the height range (4' 10") but this discussion is as close as I can find to my height!!!! At my highest I weighed 143 and worked hard to get back down to 113-115. I kept it off for a little over a year and the weight started creeping back on. My husband is quite a cook and is 6' 1" so I have to learn not to keep…
