  • Well, Congratulations, you should be proud of yourself.
  • I am making it right now. Sounds delicious, Thanks
  • Same here. I had no idea how many calories I was taking in each day or the amount of fat, carbs and cholesterol. I was shocked to say the least, it took me a few weeks of tweaking my menu to really get a good start on actually losing weight and not starving myself. Good luck.

  • I'm on 175mcg Synthroid, it is an uphill battle, doable but weight does not come off as easy without the thyroid problem. Energy, memory and general lethargy will go away. Use the extra energy you feel to your advantage and get some good workouts in while it lasts

  • Welcome, I never would have believed I would reach the 200lbs mark either but I did. I started exercising 2 months ago, two 50 minute water aerobic classes ( 10 minute break between them), twice a week. I lost 10lbs. I am glad those pounds are gone, but it took 2 months to get them off! I found this site and joined a few…
  • Wow, I have the same thoughts and feelings about myself. I have 63lbs that I want to lose. Just knowing that I am not alone in how I feel…
  • Hi Cookie, welcome and good luck. You will have plenty of support and motivation here.
  • Raspberries, strawberries and lite yogurt!
  • I also have osteoarthritis in the knees, actually had one total knee replacement. I started on a recumbent stationary bike. You can watch TV or read while doing it. You can get just the pedals and sit on a chair, couch or the mat. It is much less expensive than the bike itself and offers the same rewards. Good luck!
  • My husband, he is my best friend as well as my soul mate. We are actually hoping to take an island vacation (just the 2 of us-NO KIDS!!) this November.
  • Ok, maybe you can read minds, cause those are the same thoughts that I have. My MFP picture was taken today, it is my before weight loss picture. Had a hard time letting my husband take it and even harder looking at it and actually putting it out there. I am hoping it will help keep me focused and motivated to lose weight…
