I'm with ya! I lost 90 pounds 3 years ago and the weight has slowly crept back on so I need accountability too! Anyone who needs support too, feel free to add me!

Mindful eating is the only way I've ever been able to lose massive amounts of weight. If I go strictly by CICO, I tend to become too obsessed and that's not mentally any better for me than the binge eating I also tend to do. Glad you've found your "way"!!

I've lost 71 pounds in a little less than a year. My goal is to lose 100 in 18 months or less. Life under 200 feels amazing!
-
The first pic is at my highest weight of 254 and the second pic is now, 60 pounds down. Still a work in progress!
-
You look absolutely amazing! You have inspired me to kick my workouts back into high gear!
-
You look A-Mazing!!

Here are my results so far. I've gone from a size 20 to a size 14, have lost 50 pounds so far and aim to lose 50 more. It can be done! It's taken me 6 months to lose this much and I hope to hit my goal by Thanksgiving this year!

Great job! You look fantastic!

I've only worried about calories so far but I think I'm about to try to start tracking (and dropping) carbs. I've focused more on mindful eating, eating slowly and not being super restrictive when it comes to food so far but I'm ready for a fat loss boost!

The two things that have helped me get this far are reading Geneen Roth's books "Breaking Free from Emotional Eating" and "Why Weight", they have helped me eat more mindfully and get out of the self criticism and restrictive diets that led me to balloon up to 254 pounds in the first place. The second thing is a gym…

Hi! Feel free to friend me. I started this adventure with about 100 pounds to lose, still have about 55 to go! I love watching people's progress, let's be friends! You CAN do this

Amazing transformation! I'm trying to lose 100 pounds too and this has definitely inspired me to keep going!
-
40 pounds is definitely worth celebrating!! You look fantastic!

Thanks for the replies everyone! That's good to know about the water weight-the scale went up 5 pounds in the past week and I feel kind of stalled out at the moment, but I'll keep trucking! Thanks for reminding me that I won't build muscle mass eating at a deficit- I feel better about sticking with my program overall now!
-
Thanks, everyone! I needed to hear the comments about the muscle versus fat. I'm struggling a bit with putting on muscle more quickly than the fat is disappearing and trying to find a good balance between cardio and strength training. Your comments tell me I must be doing something right though!

Way to go! Isn't it amazing how great it feels to get into each smaller size?!
-
I'd like more fitbit friends too. Mine has really motivated me to move more since I got it. Anyone can add me, azuremiste@yahoo.com

I have 90 more pounds to lose-would love some friends on here with similar goals. I'm adding some of you ladies!

My NSV this week is that I can now hold a plank-full on, on toes and hands for 30 seconds. Doesn't sound like much but 2 months ago I could barely hold for 10!
-
You look great! Your goals are similar to mine so this is inspiring!
-
I love this thread. Can I just friend everyone in here?!

I am definitely struggling to walk today! It's a little better since I slept. I have made it through level 1 in the past but never any further. Iansgirl-I think you should do it as it's meant to be, 10 days per level and see how that goes first. I've seen lots of posts about how people prefer level 2 and 3 better anyway.…

Thanks for the comment,Dixie. Good to know!
