  • Hiii i'm from London, hope I can help :) feel free to add me! x
  • Do they contain calories? Yes. Do they contain sugar? Yes. Do they contain carbs? Yes. Can too many fruit and veg make you gain weight = YES. Potato is a vegetable. It is fairly high in calories, high carb etc. You should 100% be counting these things!
  • I had a 'cute guy' at the gym crush. Six months of smiles and we spent six months together... It was never ever going to work. Some things are better left as crushes!!
  • I'm 20 years old and I gave up drinking for 6months. Completely. It really helped me to lose the first 15lb or so! I went out and told myself I could have a good time without it - I was still as hyper and bubbly as I would be having a drink. Why not try not drinking every other week? Or having alternate drinks -…
  • You need to open your diary up hun we can't see it!
  • My cousin takes her 2 year old girl and 5 year old boy to the gym creche up to five times a week. The kids go swimming, the boy plays golf and they understand that mummy and daddy have to work out to be healthy - both parents were very over weight to start with. They questioned why they didn't order chinese food any more…
  • I expect a lot of places in Europe will be very pricey this summer - London are hosting the Olympics and for us Brits (specially London commuters like me) we can't imagine anything worse than our flawed train and underground system being any busier so we're all trying to escape :)
  • What annoys me most? Ignorant people who think the gym belongs to them. Seems like a lot of the comments in this thread have come from those kind of people!!!
  • 1) No food after 7pm - Why? I know some people live by the 'don't eat after a certain time' rule but calories are calories. What is the difference between 100 calories at 7am and 100 calories at 7pm? Nothing. If you're hungry and you feel you need to eat something - eat! 2) As little as possible wheat / gluten / dairy /…
  • Invest in a heart rate monitor, everyone is different :) xx
  • I don't know where you are from but i'm based in the UK and manage to get all of my food for a week for around £20! I shop in Morrisons and buy a lot of the frozen savers foods - 97p for huge bag of vegetables is great. You can also buy frozen chicken and fish fillets that just have to be defrosted in the mornings :)…
  • I think this is where the problem lies. It isn't healthy to be 'obsessed' with your body image. But it depends how obsessed you really are :(
  • Nike training app, c25k and fitness buddy :)
  • You'll find as you get more into changing your lifestyle 'treats' will be something you want less of and they tend to steer towards a more healthy way of life. My treats now involve new sports bras or fruit that i normally class as too expensive to buy on a regular basis! How about doing monthly rewards rather than weekly?…
  • I've said this so many times. EXAMPLE: 1200 calories of McDonalds chicken nuggets 1200 calories of lettuce Is you did this on a daily basis (obviously neither is healthy at all!) which do you think would make you lose more weight, quicker? A balanced, mostly clean diet is the best way to lose weight. AND you need to…
  • You should try net 1270 calories a day, sometimes, depending on your burn it might be hard. Try to never go below 1200 calories! Milk is a great way to get extra calories if you're struggling. Try eat the healthiest foods you can when eating back - remember it isn't just about the calories its about fat, carb and sugar too!
  • One of the only ways I ever eat chocolate darlin! Tastes so good and almost guilt free!
  • I will be breaking mine into quarters and eating them over weeks melted with raspberries or banana :)
  • Compliments in the gym are the nicest thing to hear - specially when you see people a fair amount. A personal trainer told me that I looked great the other day and someone else asked me 'how I got my abs' not stomach ABS. I was buzzing after those compliments :) xxxx
  • MMMMMM A LITTLE BIT OF STUBBLE :)
  • I found I wasn't loosing so I started to log EVERYTHING down to vitamins I take every day. Since I've started adding everything up i'm losing loads better :)
  • :) Hiii! I'm Bexx, 20, nearly 21. I started at 152, I'm now down to around 136lb but have dropped from a size 12 dress to a size 8. I'm aiming for 119lb :) Feel free to add me xx
  • I don't personally agree with 'cheat meals'. If you're doing this and want to lose weight for good you need to consider this to be a lifestyle change not a 'diet'. When you get to your goal weight you can't eat 'cheat' foods every day you need to keep up the good eating and the exercise etc. I think that planning unhealthy…
  • I'm 5"5 roughly and started at 152. I'm now down to about 136lb. My aim is to get to 119 though I have a feeling this may be slightly too small. I need to work quite a lot on my arms and legs but my stomach is just about there... My calories were set to 1200 but burning about 450-600 calories 4-5 times a week through…
  • It takes roughly six weeks to change a habit. I expect if you drink one glass of plain water every single day you will grow to just accept it. Water has no real taste. Keep pushing because if you can drink water over anything else you'll save an awful lot of calories!
  • When you have an apple, put some peanut butter on each slice (soooo good) or have a glass of milk first thing in the morning/evening. Try protein shakes? Any lean meat is great to snack on too!
  • There is NO SUCH THING AS A MAN PUSH UP. Get down and do ten of them - build your way up. I couldn't do one 2 months ago, now i can do 25 and PROUD :) Tricep dips are also great!
  • Feel free to add/message me if you've got any questions :) xx
  • I was veggie for a long time. I used to make brown pasta and dolmio sauces on my really lazy days when I just wanted something good to eat. Brown bread toasted and scrambled eggs. Stacks of steam bag microwave veg and anything over based tofu... Stir fry veg and tofu :)
