I have bad luck saving money. You can count on it that, as soon as I have some money to put into savings, my car will break down, my kid or I will get sick or hurt and have to spend an ungodly amount on bills, etc.

Tell yourself "I'm going to do (insert workout here) for 5 minutes today." Set your timer for 5 minutes and when you're done you stop. Then tell yourself "I did 5 minutes yesterday and feel great. My cheat days are important to me, because I know that I react rebelliously and if I deprive myself of certain foods it will cause me to binge. By scheduling a 'cheat' day, I don't have to feel guilty or feel like I failed. It doesn't work for everyone, but it works for me.

Absolutely it can. I can gain anywhere from 2-7 lbs during that time. The side effect listed on most birth control pills does specify that it can cause weight gain. When I was on the pill my appetite was insatiable! It's not true for everyone, but it was true for me.

Because of my herniated disks, I ever can't run or jog (per my doctor's orders) because it causes the disks in my back to compress. BUT he told me "you'll burn far more weight walking briskly than you'll ever burn running". I sure hope he's right. LOL

For me, having been thin in the past, I know what looks good on me. My minimum weight should be 125. When I weighed that in high school, I looked skeletal and gross. The maximum I should be is 150 and when I weighed that amount, I looked healthy and vibrant. So, instead of trying to hit 125, I'd hit 150.
