  • You might want to consider re-adjusting your calorie goals. I look at mine every 10 lbs to be sure that I'm still going to be losing weight at the rate I'd like as when you get smaller, you need less and less calories!
  • I'm still working on this myself, but I've found some success in realizing that weight loss is not a "kill or be killed" kind of deal. I think using language like "nothing can derail me" and "nothing can stop me" is setting yourself up for failure. Don't be so hard on yourself! There WILL be derailment. There WILL be bad…

  • I also recommend Mio! The vanilla orange is currently my favorite.
  • Hahaha - I see what you did there.
  • 47 lbs! That's awesome! Six months of hard work and dedication has paid off and I bet you are so pleased with yourself and the results. You should be! But don't slip back into old habits!! Maybe you could use a little bit of a break. If I were in your shoes, I would eat at maintenance for a week or two. Still log…
  • Great job tracking it and taking ownership! It feels crumby to give into those binge cravings (trust me, I know!), however I bet you'll at least think twice about it now that you understand that you'll be 600 calories behind if you do it! That said, also don't beat yourself up too much. Remember, those cravings are fine to…
  • Blessed be his noodly appendages.
  • Stoooooop taking the Plan B's. I'd bet that the hormonal craziness you have put your body through the last couple months is hugely impacting your weight and probably a bunch of other aspects working within you. If there are Planned Parenthoods by you, start there for birth control. They can help find programs to get you…
  • I'm 5'9" and at 165 right now and while my goal weight on here is 140, I'm going to get myself to 150 then start focusing on some heavy lifting. Even now I don't think I really care too much about the weight... I'm more focused on measurements! But its always nice to see that "Lost X lbs since her last check in!" status! :)
  • I second these brands. Seven for All Mankind jeans have what I call a s sophisticated cut. Stylish, hugs you in the right spots, and are midrise without anyone ever knowing they are midrise. Besides the TJ Max and discount places like that, I'd suggest going to trendy second hand shops. Not thrift stores, but the "We buy…
  • 5'9" here! Just restarting after a lapse and gaining 10 lbs back (boo!). I actually checked this thread out mainly for goal weight inspiration! I'm not entirely sure what my goal should be. I'm currently 160 and my goal weight is set at 130, but I'm not entirely sure that's attainable for me and my body type (apple, with…
  • I'm from the Milwaukee area! Feel free to add me as well :)
  • I'd agree with this. I actually used to get headaches from running and went to the doctors about it because I thought there was maybe something wrong with my teeth. But it turns out I was clenching and I was given advise to massage my jaw muscles before exercising. It helps!
  • Thanks so much everyone! I think I'll increase my calorie goal... and also invest in some of the 100 calorie packs! :)
  • I think the vast majority of people out there have bad posture from sitting in offices all day, not varying their workouts so some muscles get stronger than others, or many other reasons. I'm definitely ashamed of mine too (in fact, the reason I posted this was someone commented that my belly stuck out farther than my…
