  • I put in around 10 hours on Dead island Riptide over the weekend, and another 2-3 hours into Defiance. I loved the original Dead Island, and think I'm liking Riptide even more, and Defiance is just great, if anyone is look for a good MMO online shooter without a monthly fee, you can't go wrong. The Arkfall battles are a…
  • Amazing game, well worth the price. The sequel is good too, but I'll always like the original better for a lot of reasons.
  • I do what I refer to a "flopping the covers" when I get up. Don't judge me.
  • I've never spent more than an hour on an AC game up until 3. The controls were super wonky IMO, and it always takes several hours to really get into the meat of the game. Having said that, I beat Assassin's Creed 3 in 2 weekends. I really (REALLY) liked the pre-revolutionary war setting, the character acting is good to…
  • I really liked the single campaign (which was awesome) and I like zombie mode (wish there was more to it, they always skimp on the base zombie maps, they should honestly just roll zombie mode out into it's own game). I never care about the other MP stuff at all really. I rented it for a few days just to play through the…
  • Have this ordered, won't be able to play til Xmas tho. Really stoked about it. Giantbomb has a 45 minute Quicklook for it if anyone wants to see what it's all about. http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-zombiu/17-6810/
  • Well, I have an 8GB model showing up today, but still holding out on 2 orders from Best Buy and Walmart on 32GB ones, which is clearly the better deal. I don't even know why Nintendo bothered with the 8GB model, and the only reason I'm getting on is as a fallback in case I don't get the 32GB model before Xmas.
  • Managed to pre-order one on Target.com tonight in a bundle w/ Mario Bros U for $370, not the deluxe version, but ah well. Going to sit on it as a potential XMas gift for my son.
  • Feel free to add me if you'd like. I've lost 80 so far, and still would like to lose another 80-100lbs. Welcome and good luck in your journey.
  • I would chip myself, I'm always getting lost.
  • I'd probably pre-order one for retail, but I'm not paying marked up Ebay prices. There's no "must have" game coming out at launch, so maybe sometime next year I'll pick on up.
  • The reference to 12/21/2012 is largely regarded as a referential way of Jaguar Paw, the Mayan king at the time, to link his reign with future. In general, the Mayans used their calendar system as a way to promote continuity and a stable way of life more than something to draw out the end of the world. Not to say we're not…
  • I need to play these, have heard nothing but good things. I believe Nintendo owns the Fatal Frame IP now, so hopefully they'll make one for the Wii U, which would be awesome to use with that tablet. Haunting Ground on the PS2 is also nerve racking. Highly recommended.
  • As long as they're $49.99 or better, it should, yeah.
  • As many perceived shortcomings as people say the PS3 has, the minimalist approach to the crossbar Sony uses is awesome IMO. I don't see ads until I go into the store, which is great. I'll be turning on my 360 here in a few weeks for Halo 4 tho, so I expect once I have installed the required dashboard updates, I'll be…
  • Whenever I think about Second Life, I think about Shaun Elliot from the now defunct GFW Radio podcasts talking about going in and griefing the game. Always laughing hysterically by the time he was done talking. The link below is in no way safe for work from an audio standpoint, but definitely worth checking out if you want…
  • Blizzard security (some might say Bliz in general) has gone to crap since their merger with Activision. They definitely push their authenticator, which isn't that expensive, but they still make money on them, around $2 of the price of those authenticators go to parts and labor to put them together, so you can do the math.
  • Bought both, played through about 4-5 hours of Dishonored, but X-Com keeps calling me back. Such an awesome game, as it stands, definitely my Game of the Year. I will say I was a huge fan of the original series, so I'm probably a bit biased. Dishonored is great, too.
  • Probably one of my all-time favorites that scared the crap out of me was Dungeons of Daggorath for the Tandy Color Computer 2. It was a text driven dungeon crawler where your mental and physical health was monitored by a loud, beating heart while you played. It was terrifying at the time. I just found out out someone…
  • This is the kind of crazy that should be coming out of Japan more than it is. They've tried to go more towards how U.S. development is, and I think it's a huge mistake. Tokyo Jungle is something that only Sony could really get away with, but it's so awesome when they do.
  • Played about 25 hours so far, amazing game, so much more fleshed out than the first one. I spend a boatload of time in Moxxi's at the slots. Pro-Tip: If you tip her, you'll have better luck on the slots usually, and if you tip her enough you'll get an achievement, a Bad *kitten* point, and eventually she'll start giving…
  • Great hour long interview with Max Schaffer from Runic games along with a bunch of gameplay. http://www.gamespot.com/shows/now-playing/?event=torchlight_ii20120913 Between this and Borderlands 2 this week, going to have to manage my time wisely :).
  • I picked up the game for $33 on Greenmangaming.com and then the Season Pass (all the first 4 DLC packs) for $22.50, so ended up paying less than $60 for both with the 20-30% off codes GMG has occasionally, worked out great.
  • Sadly, there's nothing at launch that makes me want a Wii U. I was hoping for a Metroid, a Zelda, a Smash Bros, or a 3D world based Mario, and none of those were talked about, so I'm guessing either of them will be at least a year out, probably more. On the plus side, I get to not have another console in my house, at least…
  • Been playing the original Borderlands on the PC across 3 25" LCDs on my new Geforce GTX660Ti. Cannot wait for BL2 to drop so I can do the same thing. Multi-monitor PC gaming done right is simply amazing.
  • I play Guild Wars 2 now. There are other people playing it, but the way it's designed that part of game is super transparent to me, I rarely even look down at the chat window. I like that I can play it by myself, sometimes people hop in and fight with me, but as soon as whatever event is going on is over, they head off on…
  • I think everybody can call themselves curvy. As long as they don't expect everyone else to agree.
