I drink a protein shake after to help with muscle repair and recovery. Also, if you can fit in your other normal workouts, go for it. You will see results quicker with other cardio / weight training, but if you get too sore from the 30 DS, wait until the soreness subsides before doing normal stuff. Happy Shredding!

It would depend on your activity setting, if you have "sedentary" as your activity level, I would say yes. Otherwise, I would log maybe half of the minutes. Either way, its good exercise for you and the toddler.

Yes, but add them slowly. My friend's hubby works outside as well, and she says he eats almost 1500 - 2000 more in the winter (Maine). But he has no weight issue. Try some healthier fats and maybe do a minute of jumping jacks to warm up your body throughout the day. The body has to burn calories to keep warm!
