Judy and johnna_elaine -- So sorry to hear about your losses and you are both in my thoughts and prayers. It is so hard to deal with the loss of a loved one -- whether it be a family member, friend, or pet. I still think of my great-grandmother who died when I was 10 and my grandmother who died nearly 5 years ago ALL THE…

This is an awesome quote, and exactly how I feel!! I don't reply about every illness, challenge, setback, or success, but I read everything, and truly pray for each one of you in every situation you're in. Such an amazing group of unique individuals, but all with a common goal to make positive changes in life, and to…

Hi everyone! Wow -- it really is hard to believe how fast this challenge is whizzing by!! I am very embarrassed to report that 12 weeks into this challenge, I am basically where I started. I guess my biggest issue is a lack of consistency...I log all food, H2O and exercise for awhile, then stop. I work out everyday for…

OH, I am SO SORRY to read about your illness and your son's hospitalization!! Bless your heart -- I can tell how understandably emotional you are about not being able to be with your son, and how physically and mentally draining it is to try to care for someone when you are sick (especially a toddler who can't care for…

CW: 136 Sorry my post is late, Jenn! I've been reading the posts and so many of us seem so down and disappointed in ourselves, in our efforts, in our lack of motivation, etc. While I know it's important to work hard and stay focused on our goals, I also think it's crucial to stay as positive as possible and to work hard at…

So, I previously reported that W3D5 exercises/walking were complete and that I'd completed 300/500 crunches. I did not log back in Fri night, but I did an additional 50 crunches so that made 350/500 complete. I was also under calories and over water for the day -- only because I logged my pizza and found I needed to do…

I did the same thing the first week, Sonya...did Buhsman series and counted each of the 50 sets of four jumps around the globe as "1" globe jump so when I read this week's explanation (and read it the same way you did) that each jump counts as 1, I completely understood why my thighs, middle back and shins were SOOOO SORE…

CW: 136.5 Glad to hear you're OK, Jenn!!! I lived in Pensacola, FL for 3 years and Hurricane Ivan did quite a number on us...no power for almost 2 weeks. Luckily, we had a generator for the fridge, but no AC in FL in Sept (also meaning no hot water for showers -- not a fan of freezing showers, personally!), and several…
