I eat at my desk every work day. To make life easy I make oat bars which are my "work day" breakfasts.

Thanks guys, this has been very helpful.

Nah it's been used scubasteve. Like I say, let's see how it works as a motivational tool. You never know it might earn it's keep just for that.

the site was down for a bit this morning so it's maybe mucked up your settings

ah well... I managed to get it to record my cycle this morning (with it disconnecting from the HRM three times) - however what tosh! 40 minute cycle at not much of a pace and it's claiming over 400 calories (my HRM and MFP consistently say around the 250 mark). I think it's probably a good thing if you just want something…

Hmm, I'll give it a try on the bike later and see how it does. I have a polar heart rate monitor I was using before so if I need to I can always put this on ebay and go back to my polar. I was just hoping to be able to have one device to use for actual excercise and the motivation thing to stop me just sitting on my…

Thanks, I used the hrm today and just went for a walk for an hour just to see. It's showing a 12 min run. Not sure of this so might take some experimenting. I noticed during the walk that it stopped showing the heart rate screen and switched to the steps screen. Does that disconnected the hrm?

Odell Lugene.... LOVE IT! I've just tried my second attempt at cloning it - in the fermenter as we speak.

my favourite beer of the minute is a choc milk stout - almost 300 calories for a 12 ounce bottle :(

I'll answer any queries I can. I'm not a historian but grew up with a family who were quite versed on old ways on the west coast of Scotland.

Torch Song Trilogy - "Just remember, if anyone asks. I'm the pretty one!" That line was what clinched things with my partner. A film we both love and she couldn't believe it when I quoted that line. It's still one of our things 3 years on - whenever she introduces me, she tells them that I'm the pretty one.

This is Mr Mo. He's 15. The bow was his Christmas sparkle.

That looks like my boy. Off to find a picture.

I'm getting quite excited by the idea of bento lunches... going to try a few this week. Wish me luck.

I did the same thing - ate like a lunatic and now I've put on 7lbs..... starting again today. Really annoyed with myself.

Not sure if this is only open to the guys, but I prefer to date older women. Doesn't seem like a big deal now I'm in my late thirties, and my girlfriend is in her forties. I just always found women my own age to be very immature and we rarely had things in common, but I have been told I am old beyond my years so maybe it's…

I like the variety. I get bored easily.

for me, I'm attracted to a nice smile, confidence and someone who is fun to be with. I'm maybe unusual but I don't find skinny women attractive, I like women to have curves and that female shape. :0) I guess everyone is individual though and we all have individual tastes.

we were in Di Maggios eating pasta and talking about the change in the law to allow "Civil Partnerships" in the UK. She said - I suppose we should do it. We're divorced and i'm now with the most wonderfully romantic woman. :0)

I did have that problem being a FF, and I struggled for years trying to find a sports bra that actually worked. I came across one by accident at my local debenhams and it's brilliant. Really makes a difference, I can jump around and althought there is a little movement, no more pain, feel fully supported :0) I think the…

check out my profile.... I'm 5ft and 166lbs

this made me laugh as in Scotland we actually say "wifey", it's kind of like a friendly term for any older lady. We tend to say "the wee wifey"
-
mine is my little piece of inspiration. Can't rely on other people all your life - sometimes you gotta do it for yourself. The pic was one I found online and it made me smile. Pounds because I'm Scottish and we're rubbish at metric :0)

I'm watching it too.

Oh I love this. I'm going to try it at work tomorrow!

I have always thought I had a really unusual name but after reading all these posts I realise just how normal mine is.... Elishia-Jayne I get called Eli
