If somebody takes the time to give specific advice on a diary, they are making the extra effort to HELP you. Doesn't mean you have to listen, but at least appreciate it for what it is. Don't treat it as criticism.

Make your food diary public, and add the tracking of sugars. Be honest with yourself first. Then expect honest helpful feedback. :)

280 was my peak. Although it might have been more. I wasn't into scales back then. Got to 220. Slowly climbed back to 240. Now I'm hoping to get back to 220, then we'll see. Oh, and I'm 6'2"

The best scale to use is the mirror, in my opinion. ;)

Nice job! Such a great feeling when you start to have more room in your clothes or somebody you know makes a comment about your looking thinner. ;) Don't take your foot off the gas. The fun has just begun.

You forgot to say something you liked. :) I like your goals. Just try and aim for 5 lbs at a time. That's what worked for me.
