I actually prefer the "Side triceps" pose for women. Unless you have substantial muscle, the "double biceps" often doesn't seem to fit. But so far the ladies are looking good!

May I say "WOW"? lol

I'm never sure what "Fair" has to do with anything. We each have our particular metabolisms, genetics and tendencies. You have to work with yours and he with his. Find what works for you and give it your best! I wish you well in meeting your goals.

It's only been 17 minutes! :-) I am available for "friendship" if you'd like. I log in pretty much everyday

The tools and people here can help you put together a plan that makes sense for you and your goals. It's up to you to do the work and make good choices. You can do it!
-
Welcome, Tonia. I wish you well in meeting your goals. You have the control. :-)
-
Congratulations on your success! All the best in meeting your goals
-
I'm not really in the same situation, but I try to be a supportive and intelligent friend. You can add if you like. All the best!

Pictures? lol Kidding. You can certainly try and avoid any heavy lower body workouts so you don't build any more muscle, but "Starving" yourself is not a good idea, and will have a negative impact in other areas.
-
Awesome work!

Why would you want to make your legs weaker? Be proud, show them off, keep them strong and healthy!

You are gorgeous, snap out of it. But seriously our self image has a lot to do with our personalites, brain chemistry, childhood and as cuddles said, negative self-talk. Not a simple subject to deal with for sure. I often feel the same way, but I'm not actually attractive like you...

I keep forgetting to check in here... Well done everybody.

HI Lily. Welcome to MFP. I wish you well in meeting your goals, you can do it!
-
Welcome here and all the best in reaching your goals

To be honest, just today, I decided not to send a request to someone who had 800+ friends. I can't imagine keeping track of everyone if I had that many.
-
First of all, congratulations on your success so far! Great results from a lot of hard work I'm sure. I might just peek in to see how you are doing. :-) Cheers
-
Is this conversation actually happening? :-) On to more important things! lol

Most of the "Wings" would be fatty tissue and skin. Certainly all the standard arm exercises will help build the muscle underneath, but you will have to continue to lose fat for the wings to shrink. Not sure how much you have lost, but if it's a lot, skin removal surgery might be necessary

IT Nerd (Systems Administrator), musician and composer. Guess which one I'd rather be doing full time? :-)
-
Inspiring. Everyone has done marvelous work
-
It's ok. I had the same question when I started. I used a separate program to track my weight workouts, but enter it under "weight training" in MFP to get the calorie count! :-)
-
You can put strength training under Cardio to get an estimated calorie burn.
-
I lick the salt off my potato chips to make sure I'm not eating it :-) Sowwy. I rarely add salt to foods, but it's everywhere!

Most people will say that the exercise is for fitness, your diet is for losing fat. Exercise can help boost your metabolism so that you burn more calories at rest, which will help with your overall deficit. Exercise has other benefits as well. Your calorie goal has a built-in deficit already

So, what you are saying is, the cheque is in the mail? I have it spent already! :-)
-
Perhaps add a drizzle of chocolate syrup? ;-)
-
Um, yeah, wow! :-)
