Strength training does not shrink anything, it develops muscle. Controlling calories helps burn fat and thus reduce the "Size" of things.. But, if you waist is getting larger, it is likely fat storage? Have you taken othe measurements - arms, legs etc. How are they doing?

I agree, we can be supportive but not many people on here are trained or have the skills to help you. Find a professional you can relate to and get a support system in place. All the best in beating this thing!

Hi. I assume when you say "Good meals" you are being sarcastic? Try fruits, veggies, lean proteins and complex carbohydrates. I would also encourage you to try some weight training to strengthen muscles and help raise your metabolism. Best of luck in meeting your goals!

Any chance you have a lot of soy protein in your diet? Could be having an increase in estrogen. Or it could be you are young and they are still growing. :-)
