  • Well.. not exactly. Your body has fat for a reason - a large store of energy. That's really its main purpose. Muscle however is useful to the body, so why would the body use muscle as a fuel source is it still has plenty of fat? The body will only begin to burn a bit of muscle when it thinks it doesn't need it anymore.…
