Hello Team, I just want to say that our team has grown in numbers which makes it even more important that each of you log your numbers on the spreadsheet EACH DAY before you go to bed. If you have any questions or don't understand how to log your numbers, please make a post in the Questions and Problems thread or send me a…

Please go back and check the spreadsheet. I think you accidentally logged your points on Sunday rather than Monday. You need to change them to Monday when you get a chance. Thanks, Nance

Hi Teresa, Would you please take a look at my spreadsheet when you have a second. I believe one of my team members tried to enter data in the colored field and messed it up. Check out Misty2ann's column please. Thanks! Nance

I don't know what you mean...can you elaborate? I don't know what you mean by you "just posted your stuff all together today".

My starting weight is 223.6 I will be doing the Challenger exercise level and will not be doing any of the extra walking challenges.

Hi everybody. I'm Nance, also known as The Great YaYa (Greek for Grandmother) and I am so excited about this challenge! I joined MFP last July and immediately joined a challenge that was especially brutal for me since I was so out of shape, but it was exactly what I needed to keep me motivated to workout every day and I…

Good news everybody.....Amazing Grace has agreed to host our little challenge. I sent her the link to this thread so she could see what we were interested in. I told her we basically wanted something simple like # of minutes exercised each day/week and that if she could throw in some specific exercises on top of that for…

I would really prefer to do a minutes exercised challenge rather than the 30-day shred. I tried it once and I just am not to the point where I can keep up with her! I can't get up and down fast enough to do all the sets ....LOL! So, who wants to do a minutes exercised challenge and see who can accummulate the most minutes?…

I will have to see if it's still On Demand
-
I may be interested in doing this.

Michelle, I was thinking an exercise challenge, not a weight loss challenge...something similar to what Gary did last July where he gave us specific exercises to do each week. But there would have to be several teams competing against each other to do something like that. If we have just one small group, we could do…

I would love to join this challenge, as I'm having a very hard time losing the weight. I've lost lots of inches in a few short months, but the scale doesn't want to move. Starting weight: 214 Current weight: 217 Goal weight: 155-160?? (size 10) What I hope to accomplish: I want to get rid of the flab!! I want to see a…

Thanks, but I tried the 30DS for a week or so and didn't care for it. I'm 57 and it was just too fast for me to keep up. I couldn't even get up and down off the floor fast enough to do all the sets. LOL! Plus, I found all the repitition kind of boring. Other people love it though...it's just not for me. Have fun with it…

I have a Polar FT7 but it doesn't have a place for me to set a resting heart rate (at least not one that I can find). It has my weight, height, birthdate, and sex and it set my max HR at 163, which is much too high for me. I generally keep it around 145-150 range when I'm working out. To figure maximum heart rate you…

You think YOU feel like giving up. I've been doing this since July (except for the break I took in Oct/Nov due to death in family and I was grieving) and I've only lost 3 lbs!! And, I AM exercising!! But, I have lost 12 inches in my waist, belly, hips, and thighs! I can't figure out why the scale isn't moving for me, but…
-
OF COURSE, I'm going to take medication if the cardiologist says I need it! I"m not CRAZY; I do want to live! My heart rate has been fast my entire life (I'm 57) and no doctor EVER has said anything about it until now.
-
I'm a little older (57), but feel free to add me. I'm post menopausal and the weight doesn't want to come off of me either! I'm diabetic and that doesn't help either. I'd love to be friends.
-
Should have addressed some of those questions. My HRM does have a chest strap, it's a Polar FT7 and I believe it automatically calculates my resting heart rate. I don't remember setting one when I first got it. The only reason I use the pedometer is to measure distance walked, in this case it was a little over 2 miles. I…

Personal challenge week #2 Two challenges both food related: I will limit myself to 1 T. of peanut butter per day (serving) if I have it. I will limit myself to 1 Atkins bar as a snack. Third challenge exercise related: 400 ab crunches
-
My abs definitely need extra work, so my personal challenge this week is to do 500 crunches.
-
So what is the personal challenge for this first week? Or do we each just come up with our own?
-
So, does this start on tomorrow (the first) or Monday the 3rd?
