HI, welcome, congrats on the baby. 44 here, don't want to be a stick either, goal of 40 lbs to lose also. Feel free to add...always looking for new people to harass (umm motivate heehee) and to do the same back.
-
Go ahead and add me as well...I have no problems 'rattling the cage' and welcome the same. :) And by the way take a peek at this pretty good article http://nerdfitness.com/blog/2012/02/01/5-steps-after-failing/

This type of stuff really p*sses me off. They didn't ask to be housed with the loser family they were stuck with so atleast have the decency to give up the poor animal. We have someone like this near my mom who left their soon to be foreclosed home and left the dog in the yard. So thankful there are people like you who is…

How cool of you to pursue volunteering for the shelter. All great advice here. I went through a bout of depression that required antidepressants when I was 29 (I'm 44 now). Hated them...kept me in a fog for the five months I was on them before getting pregnant and having to quit. When my doc said I would have to stay on…

Hahahaha!!! Great post! I was sitting quietly at breakfast when my husband asked what was wrong. I hadn't realized how deep in thought I was thinking "How can I get that new bike...?". heehee

Welcome. Congrats on the weight loss so far! Feel free to add me as a friend!
-
Hey deksgrl just accepted your friend request (how coudn't I w/ someone who gets 'bat wings' heehee) liked your reply here. May have questions cuz that's what I do!
-
A quick question: do you exercise before or after breakfast?
-
Shots on the treadmill! hahaha!!!
-
All great ideas. Thank you!

Do this for yourself; don't worry about what others are thinking or doing or feeling. They're not there when you're dealing with the effects of your apnea (saw your profile). Start with home dvds if that helps. It will jump start your weight loss and eventually you'll forget to care about the others. You're not the 'fat…

About 40 lbs here....feel free to add. Like to motivate others and be motivated as well.

Awesome!! You look great! This accomplishment must prove your strength and determination. You rock!
-
Well we can all kick you in the butt but only you can make the decision to keep the momentum going. It's not easy, I'm about 10-15 days in. Everyone told me to start by tracking food and that was the best thing I've done so far. Like someone here said, track everything...you'll be surprised by what you find. I found that…

Awesome!!!

Awesome! You look beautiful!

Prepackage your food in small snack bags...nuts, fruit, veggies. Shakes/bars sound good too.
-
TOTALLY do this!! The frenzied eating to get it done and over with. God forbid I would throw it away or give it away ;) Whew, I'm not the only one. haha!!
-
LOL!! Ok I'm cracking up here!! Thanks for the laughs!!! Especially the 'can it kiddo grandma'- totally rocks....
-
That was motivating enough for me to send the friend request :)
-
Hey medic....that's the same I would say for those pickles ;)
-
Haha Medic..., That's how Jillian's been making me feel....like she's giving me a heart attack! But it's a good pain afterwards. Why I thought I could go right into 30DS without having worked out in 'forever'....well I must be nuts. But it's all good. :)
-
Thank you for the helpful information!

I'm on day 2 of Jillian's 30 Day Shred and it's kicking my butt in a good way. Supplementing with the fitness ball core exercises which seem to be getting my stomach muscles and provides much enjoyment to my kid and hubby who seem to be taking bets on how long before I roll off the ball. Check out You Tube or the library…

The thing I'm finding for myself is that if I go way under my calories, I gain weight. Body must think it's about to starve... Don't give up. If you're feeling better that's a good sign!

Welcome! Sounds like good goals to me!
