  • Coconut oil is great. It is one of the few oils that does not turn to transfat when heated to a high heat. I use it for sauteeing everything. You really should stay away from fat free foods. Fat is flavor without it foods need to have sodium, chemicals and/or sugar added to taste good. your body needs fat to survive.…

  • Thai garlic chili paste !!
  • Quit eating cards, eat more veggies and lean proteins. avoid over processed foods. Do you realize how much you have to process turkey to make it taste like bacon or pork sausage? You should use the main and best "muscle", your brain...hahaha ! edit to add a comma before the grammer gestapo got me...

  • I have a protein smoothie everyday for breakfast. I use vanilla and chocolate whey usually. Sometimes I throw some Casein chocolate in if it might be a little while before I eat again. I love to use frozen fruit, yogurt which I freeze. I use flax seeds, chia seeds and steel cut oats, among other things, sometimes. I just…
  • I weigh everyday right before I get in the shower. I really do not pay much attention to the variances each day. I just log it when there is a difference over a period of time. If I weigh the same as I did last week then I don't log it. I'm really more concerned with my BF%.' Edit... I figure with checking it everyday if…
  • I freeze it then add with protein powder and frozen fruit to a blender for a protein smoothie. edit to add..I mix it with water also for a smootie consistancy.
  • IMO, it has nothing to do with him going to the gym. He just is feeling ignored, inadequate or something since you are going and having very good success. In the 1st place, he should be able to get a good workout in 45 minutes. I say go 3 - 4:30 then come home and wake his *kitten* up and call his bluff. Do this about a…
  • "Your Diet is #1. You can live in the gym, but if you don't eat clean you're wasting your time!" - IFBB Pro Bikini Jessica Jessie I have that as my background on my computer at work. It is so true. If you are eating the same exact way as last year and you are not seeing progress you need to change some stuff up. Since, you…
  • http://store.bellplantation.com/4-Pack-PB2-Powdered-Peanut-Butter-p/pb2-04.htm edit to add..I buy it from Amazon. I think it is cheaper. But the link is for the place that makes it. They grind peanuts after they do a cold press to make extra virgin peanut oil. I like it for the ease and taste in my protein shakes.

  • Get a food scale if you do not have one. Portion and serving size is very easy to over estimate. I really noticed changes once I started weighing everything. Also, make sure you are reading labels on anything you are eating. Try to cook your food yourself as much as possible. I know this can be hard to do. I cook in bulk…
  • I'm not sure about a tablet. Does it have a camera? I am using the Iphone app.
  • The app should synch with whatever you have set on the webpage. It should not be different if you have it set up online. I do most all online but it should be no different. as everyone else said I would check the info that was entered. Your caloric intake should be more given your current weight unless you wanted to lose…
  • It's not very big, but, yes, EVERYONE should have a food scale. It is the only way to accurately control portion size.
  • What do you consider Plain ol' veggies? I sautee frozen pole beans in a little coconut oil with garlic powder, salt and pepper then add Chili paste and a little low sodium chicken broth and let them steam in that covered for a few minutes then remove the lid and let it reduce. It works with all kind of veggies. I do…
  • Not really.. I'm gay
  • Contrary to popular belief, fat is not bad for you. You may need to adjust what you eat if you are 300 calories shy and over your fat, but I go over on my fat a lot. I am concerned about calories but I do pay attention to my carbs because my body seems to be less tolerant of carbs as most people. It also depends on how…
  • I cook my chicken up in bulk at the beginning of the week. I usually cook up 6 at a time. I take Springer Mountain Farms individually packed boneless shinless chicken breasts, rinse then pat dry, salt & pepper both sides. I brown on top of the stove in 1t. coconut oil and 1/4 t. unsalted butter. Then finish them in a 350…
  • I drink a whey protein shake pre and post workout on days I lift. I drink 1 post on cardio days and one for breakfast if I do neither. I drink a casein protein shake for supper. I work until 6:30pm and get up around 4am for the gym. It's about the only way I can get my protein intake. Plus, the one at night I use chocolate…
  • Only YOU can change YOU !! I don't mean to be rude or anything but it seems you are just making excuses. IF you want it bad enough you will do it !! Do some serious soul searching and ask yourself how bad do you want it. GOOD LUCK !!
  • I cut up a Granny Smith apple and mix the pieces with cottage cheese and I eat it with Thai Garlic Chili Paste to kick it up a bit. It's good to eat at night because of the Casein protein.
  • 34 (tight) to 30 (very loose, belt is a must or they fall off) BF% 53.8 to 19.4
  • ^^^^ this ^^^^
  • Increase you calories and see if that helps. Everyone is different, there is no set formula to lose weight really. But if you have been real strict to the 1200 calories, I would suggest eating more, at least a few days, to see if that wil promote some loss. You really just need to play with it to see what works for you.
  • I Love this stuff...I have in a Casein Protein shake every night just about. It's not that expensive, have you priced regular peanut butter lately?
