I think it's difficult once you lose a routine. I'm off work next week, and not looking forward to having to be more strict with myself just to keep on track! But if you can get into a routine again, it'll become second nature. And your husband's right, you *have* done really really well - good luck! :flowerforyou:

Try not to look at it as losing 100lbs - that's what's always defeated me in the past because it seems impossible!! Try setting yourself small goals - perhaps losing a certain amount by the end of each month, or choose a special event. You CAN do this, just take it one step at a time. Best of luck!!!

DP, do you put the scales in the same place each week? I've got a ceramic tile kitchen floor, and I weigh differently according to while tile I use!

I swim too - bad knees so it's the best form of exercise for me in that way. I do breaststroke (unfortunately I've forgotten how to breathe for freestyle and don't want to drown myself!) and I do 6 lengths then take a 30 second break. I'm usually only in the pool for 30 minutes, but MFP says it burns 500+ calories. I also…

I guess there are no definite rules - just see how it's affecting your body and weight loss, and if you're not happy then do something about it. If you're still on track though, don't worry about it!

How about cycling? I have bad knees, so also find things like running painful, but I can go for miles on a bike! I think the elliptical trainer is also meant to be better for joints than running on a hard surface. What about swimming too?
