I'm still not great at getting all the water I need in a day but I do find I drink more when I use a straw...odd maybe but it seems to work for me, especially at work. I just gulp it down without thinking about it being water...still don't love it but I am getting more in this way.

My sister is a big runner and she says at some point you just break through the point where it hurts and you love it...I'm still waiting for that point but I will keep the faith she's not totally nuts ;) One foot…

I've noticed a lot of people on the boards seem to have mini goals and rewards which I have found a helpful idea as well...I have yet to set mine but following a principle my old boss taught me is that the "only way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time". so as I start to fight my elephants I need to break it down into…

First congrats on your upcoming wedding...I'm assuming that's the motivator? I was on here about a year ago but fell off the wagon :) and never really got involve on the boards then so I consider myself new(ish). Just wanted to say hi as we have similiar goals and time frame so thought we could keep one another going. Feel…

I'm a novice rider and did my first century ride last spring. I also hadn't been on a bike in years before deciding to do that! If you start your training now and increase a bit each week I think you could do it for sure! I did my ride around Lake Tahoe with Team in Training (raising funds for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society…
