It's a reward for visiting the website, that's it. I don't see that as being awesome.

I take fiber supplements, that I do not record.

Yup, they got it, the strength training section is just to help you track weight/reps etc.

How much time does everyone allow from last food to sample taken, to be considered fasting?

I think you are on the right track. Prepare your own meals, and/or eat little of what he prepares. I think at some point he will either understand or get angry that you aren't eating what he is cooking. At this point, is a good one to re-explain to him WHY you are doing it, and that if he cannot changes the way he prepares…

Ok, the 300+ comment was not meant as a serious one. I know that is not healthy, thus why I am currently low carb and getting sick when I get below 120. I was making a point that feeling good and a healthy glucose level for me, do not seem to go hand in hand. I never had any of the common diabetic symptoms. Wasn't…

Hello, I don't remember when I was diagnosed but was over 5 years ago. I currently take Metformin, Onglyza and Glyburide at maximum doses. Doc says insulin is next if my A1C doesn't come down. Have a reaction to my glucose getting below 120 where I start having Hypoglycemic type symptoms. Mostly upset stomach, sweating and…

My doctor is the one increasing the dosage and amount of medications I'm taking now. I would really like to hear from someone who actually has or had this problem.

I think you have just restated my very first question. I'm giving you the information from my doctor and dietitian.
-
You bet. I keep VERY close logs of my food, here on MFP and my glucose levels. My optimal level is 100, which is where I start getting sick. The best correlation I have, is when I actually reach my carb goal, by being under why my dietitian has recommended.

Summary: Eat better and get your blood sugar down. Problem: when my blood sugar gets to normal levels I get VERY SICK. Unless you are recommending I change my dosage of Metformin and stop taking my other two medications, this doesn't address my problem. Second problem, very limited on what websites I can reach from work or…

Doesn't really address my problem.

Don't try wearing anything new. The last thing you want is a new piece of gear to give you fits, and make the experience negative.

You should never "go on a diet", but rather "change your diet".

If you have lost inches on your legs, but not lost pounds, that sounds like lost fat and gained muscle. Makes me think you are on the right track.

Definitely go bigger! Find one that fits your budget, living environment, has all the features you want, and then get the biggest one of those. (In that order)

I understand this isn't a medical community. But I'm sure as soon as I go see a professional, I'll have a "problem", if you know what I mean. I just want to know, is this just me needing to work on impulse control and changing habits, or something that I do need to talk to a doctor about, beyond my physical health problems.
