Anyone can feel free to add me. I try to stay active up here as much as possible with inspiring others as well as looking for motivation of my own.

Completely agree with amanda. It is almost the workout version of mfp. A lot of great programs that can be tracked and a lot of great support. I am currently on my 2nd program and got others lined up all through 2015

I am not sure of the progress you have made thus far, but what was worked for me is looking back at photos of myself at my heaviest and remembering how I felt physically and emotionally. I also look back at all that I have accomplished to this point and find that spark to keep pushing forward to accomplish more and to a…

A lot good advice up here, esp. from jsecret and yoovie. Congratulations of your progress thus far. For me, what gets me back on track when I lose the drive is remembering where I once was and never wanting to go back. It could be pics, how unhealthy I felt at the time, etc. Also, even though I am happy where I am now, I…

In complete agreement with jacksonpt. There is a lot of advice giving up here and a lot of it you have to take with a grain of salt because everyone is speaking from what has worked for them. Unfortunately, what works for someone else may not work for another person. Then you just have people posting stuff with lack of…

You, and anyone else, are more than welcome send me a request. I'm not an highly active person up here but I try to be an inspiration where need be.

I would like to respond with something insightful, but a lot of people up here have already said what I am thinking. This is all just my opinion, take it or leave it but it has worked for me. Motivation is just what gets you started on the path of healthy living (whether it is to lose weight, be more active, etc.). For me,…

To be honest, I only skimmed through the OP and liked how this was the beginning of the responses and some of the others followed suit. Tedebearduff is 100% on the money! I'll tell you like I told my mother-in-law. We all get the same 24 hours in a day and many make it a priority to make time to exercise as well as eat…

While I agree with cwlsr with a lot of his points, there is nothing wrong with trying to pull motivations from others while developing it internally. I feel that I am self-driven but get even more encouraged when I see others do well or are making steps in the right direction. Anyone can feel free to send me a request.

I have learned that for me, motivation is what gets me started but cannot be relied upon long term because there are days that I do not feel like getting up to workout or prepping my meals for the day or week. What has kept me going is a persistence to live a healthier lifestyle by making it a habit in my daily routine.…

Anyone is more than welcomed to send me a requests. I'm always looking for more motivated people.

Awesome post! I'm definitely going to try that recipe for the chicken. I have 4-5 meals a day and do the same thing with spending most of Sunday prepping all my meals for the week, since I don't do much on Sundays. It makes sticking to my plan a lot easier and saves the hassle of going thru the prepping process everyday.…

You and anyone else are more than welcomed to send me an add request. Hopefully, we can motivate each other. I try to log in my food diary at least during the weekdays but my log is open to the public

Great post. When people ask me how I lost weight, I always have to give a disclaimer of "this is what worked for me". Congratulations on all your success thus far.

Hey Shauna, you are more than welcome to send me a FR. I'm always looking for motivation and support from others as well as provide it when I can. Good Luck

A lot of people already mentioned this but the scale just gives you a #. It doesn't know how you feel, how you look, if gotten stronger, how others see you, etc. etc.. If I'm feeling healthier and happy with the results that I see in the mirror, then the # on the scale means little. Stay positive and good luck going…

I am almost down 80lbs from when I started over 3 years ago and the one thing I kept in mind that it is a slow process. You can't get to bog down when there are no immediate results as well as not become comfortable when you have success. A lot of the prior replies have provided great advice so I will past on repeating the…
