Hi! I would go with 1 and 2. I'd stay away from the horizontal stripes because they draw the eye across and to your hips. Not that you have big hips. Number 4 doesn't have really happy colors for the occasion (I'd use that one for work). The pink is happy and the ruffles are festive. Plus, it'll be easier to find some…

Portland Oregon! Lots of fresh air. Lot of grassroots opportunities and movements to become involved in. Farmers Markets. Outdoor activities. I live in Melbourne FL. Didn't think I'd like it here. But lots of sun, beach, outdoor activities. Can't say much for the job market, but I have got a really good tan. C

Try everything I've wanted to try and hadn't had time to before. I'm working part-time now after working full-time since the age of eighteen. I am using this opportunity to learn to swim, do zumba, ride my bike as much as possible, learn about kayaking, learn racquetball.... This opportunity doesn't come around very often.…

That's a good start! I'd recommend checking out a fitness magazine like Muscle and Fitness for some more pointers and/or going online. Until then it'd be a good idea to keep track of the exercises, weight your lifting, and number of reps so you have a way to measure your progress. Hope that's at least a little help.

If I'm hungry I have difficulty sleeping. Then I'll usually have a glass of milk (2% or no-fat of course). Or I also heard that bananas have a sleep inducing chemical. Maybe half a banana. A cup of hot tea is good too. Just something to settle the stomach a little bit.
-
Same with me also. I'm gonna guess that it's just our body's rhythm kind of like getting sleepy at a certain time of the day. If it's a really huge concern, you may want to consider cutting back on the fluids earlier in the evening and see how it goes. The way I see it, I have two "alarm clocks" at the ready. If I don't…

I track the usual things, but added sugar and fiber specifically because I know we women don't usually get enough fiber in our diets and I'm trying to up that. And, I was curious about my sugar intake and have found it to be higher than I initially thought despite making an active effort to get it down. I guess I have to…

CUT HIM LOOSE! If a relationship with someone is that much trouble and there's that much unsureness, then it's not meant to be. Sounds to me like you are being kept on the line "just in case" - like a spare and you're letting him do that to you. I recommend you read Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man by Steve Harvey. Read…

Muscle & Fitness Hers magazine. Great resource!

Good words! I'd add... Learn from your mistakes, but don't dwell for too long. Just long enough to catch the lesson.

Fruit. But if I'm really needing a fix I'll allow myself a tablespoon of icecream or whatever. Just so I get a taste.

Hi, I don't have an FT7, but I do have an FT60. I was wondering if you did all the settings. There may be places where you can set your weight, age, etc. You didn't say how many minutes you were working and I don't do those types of routines myself, but those numbers do seem kind of low. If it's all set and everything then…

Sorry, but it sounds like a little bit much. Maybe you should give your body some time to rest and recover. I think we may be alike in that I've felt that I've had to be going at it intensely to get any accomplishment in the past. I've learned that that isn't good. Makes you more susceptible to injury, catches up and you…

My favorite is Chocolate Strawberry Banana Smoothie Put about a handful and a half of frozen strawberries in a blender along with one cup of milk. Blend to break up the strawberries. Add about a tablespoon of Honey, some chocolate drink mix of your preference (I like Ovaltine or Chocolate Whey Protein), two bananas, and…

Food for Thought: It's not a "Weight Loss Regime" . It's a "Life Style Change". Make it so and it will remain.

That dress does great things for your legs! Personally I'd go without the dark shrug. Maybe something lighter in color, or a shawl. Also, I wouldn't let her comments get to you, even if she is known to be honest with you. Is she a fashion expert? And did you feel good before all that?

Keep up the good work. For someone who hates exercising you're definitely doing something right! I think the exercising thing is just the need to change your mindset. Focus on and look for the good... the extra energy, the burn, the opportunity to clear your mind and just focus on yourself for a minute. As women, mothers,…

Women are limited to how much they can "bulk" up. You shouldn't worry too much about that. I, for one, prefer the chocolate flavor. But, I mix mine with milk. Water and chocolate just don't go well together in my mind.

Since ur working out more, you're burning more. Sounds like your metabolism has picked up. It's good to track your exercise calories burned because they're added to your allotment and you can eat those too. I try to eat only a portion of them myself. Remember... just so long as you're eating healthy stuff you can eat a…

Makes sense. I have an FT60 and a high heart rate. It has continued recording and hasn't said "Stop!" Not a problem.
-
Not sure I understand your question. I enter the exercise in the journal, then adjust the calories burned that MFP gives me to those of my HRM. HRM is more accurate.
-
I use my pedometer daily, but I make no where near the number of steps you do unless I wear it to Zumba class. I do have to say, I'm kind of disappointed that MFP does not have a specific place for pedometer/steps to be tracked.
-
The other plus... new dance moves. You will learn how to move your hips like you've likely never done before!
-
Using the HRM is the most accurate way to track calories burned, but I'll be honest with you... MFP isn't too far off the target. In comparing the MFP with the actual result from the HRM it's usually within 50 calories. Never dead on, but fairly close. I'd still get the HRM.

Who gives a damn what other people think? It's your life. Live it as you see fit. Peace be with you!

I am confined to my office and am lucky if I have the opportunity to take a five minute walk away from my desk. I walk to speak to staff or deliver necessary paperwork at every opportunity (instead of having them come get it), I will do legwork (squats, kickbacks to work buttocks, and side lifts to work outer thigh area)…
