Sausage and peppers and onions from The Sausage Guy.

Yeah I've never had that problem. I just finished a chobani and I'm already counting down to my next snack of carrots and guac...it's how I get through the work day. I also don't strive to eat clean and I love carbs. If I have extra calories at the end of the day I'll reach for a beer or wine and enjoy every sip :)

Exactly. I use hand weights for sandbag (or nothing at all sometimes and you still get a great workout), I use my coffee table for tricep dips, a bench for step-ups, and my kitchen table for the reverse pull-ups. You can also do bentover rows or I have bands that my fiancee bought for P90x that work the same muscles as the…

For the people that said it's working for them, it's so easy, it's so cheap, etc. I just have a couple questions. 1. Are you planning on drinking this stuff for life? 2. If not, do you now have the tools to eat healthy and appropriately to maintain (or continue to lose) your weight? 3. I don't understand the more energy,…

Word to that. I just googled the shake's nutrition and one-a-days, which aren't fancy vitamins by any stretch. The shakes only have 30% of your general vitamins and only 5% iron. Not exactly knocking your socks off. And the Vi site doesn't give grams for each vitamin, only percentages, which I find interesting.

That flavor sounds awesome. I am addicted to their honey mustard dressing.

Had some Jimmy John's today - #12 with no mayo and I actually ate half my bag of salt and vinegar chips and stored the other half away. #small victories!

I started doing it a couple weeks ago - been going through the Feb 30-day challenge. I've definitely seen a noticeable difference in body tone. My shoulders have more definition and last night - I saw some ab lines so I was stoked. I didn't think you could get such a good workout in 15 mins a day, but I was wrong. The…

I don't understand the people that say they take this shake for the vitamins and minerals. Can't you just take a multi-vitamin in the morning, maybe through in some fish oil and calcium supplements and call it a day? Lot less calories that way too.

My problem with frozen grapes is that women's magazines (Glamour, Shape, etc.) always recommend them as an alternative to sweets. You want ice cream, pie, chocolate cake....then snack on some frozen grapes cuz it's practically the same thing. In no world are frozen grapes and cake the same thing - they're not on the same…

I used a HRM for the first time on the elliptical last night and my fears were realized. I'm 5'4" and weigh 131 and used the elliptical on a hill setting for 45 minutes. The machine (which lets you input data) said 450 cals burned, HRM said 280 - sigh.

I hate getting on the scale at my doctors. My appointments are always in the winter so I'm usually in boots and a sweater....and they don't even ask you to take your shoes off! At least take a couple pounds off when you write it down so I feel like it's somewhat accurate....grrrrr.

I pretty much don't leave the house without makeup. On sat and sun mornings when I go to the gym as soon as I wake up, that is literally the only place I don't wear it. I'll even put on concealer and mascara for the beach. I don't think I wear a lot and I definitely have work, every day make up and going clubbing makeup…

I have 2 cats. Lily, the one in the pic is now 6 years old. I've had her for 4 years and she's finally becoming a cuddler. Although when she's done with pets or cuddling, she will let you know - she's still a biter/scratcher, but I figure she had a hard life. She's a lot skinnier now but she has the shortest little legs so…

I have 2 cats - Lily is 6 and Molly is 4. My vet recommended that I brush their teeth, and I do it occasionally, but not nearly as often as I should. For some reason brushing their teeth is easier than cutting their nails. I bought a kit at Petsmart - little toothbrush and nasty toothpaste. I kind of stand behind them…

Normally I'm psyched for baseball, opening day, Red Sox! Woohoo! But ugh, I am not looking forward to this year at all....I don't think it's going to be pretty. Bard's not a starter! We have no closer! We have no shortstop (well that's nothing new)! I miss Terry!!!!! The sense of impending doom is not pleasant.

I just bought lower sodium jerky from target - I think it had 300mg versus the usual 600mg or so. It was one of the readily available brands that I see at grocery stores all the time, so I was surprised they had a lower sodium version and scooped up a few.

Definitely light weights to start. Sometimes the squat tracks are 6-7 minutes long, so you don't want to go too heavy, until you figure out how much you can handle I change my weights throughout the class, and if you're new, the instructor does a good job of letting the class know on which tracks you should have more…

I tend to drink the shakes as a breakfast, like many here have said. I get light-headed if I don't eat before I take the bus, and I always ran out of time or was late to work, so shakes are perfect. I got the EAS Chocolate flavor at Target and it was reasonable. I also thought I'd be drinking them on days I was short on…

I just bought the vita breakfast sandwich, which had egg whites, "cheese", and veggies in a whole wheat english muffin. It was 150 calories and I thought it tasted really weird....definitely not purchasing again.

I'm 5'4" and started around 145 pounds in August. I originally was at 1200 but I couldn't handle it so I changed my settings to .5 lb a week and 1450 calories. Now I'm down to 131 and 1400 calories. I've been at a plateau since early Feb, so I'm thinking I need to do something to try and lose the last few pounds, just not…

Didn't read through the whole thread but just wanted to add that I wouldn't put Ocho Cinco up there on healthy/vegetarian Mt. Rushmore. Maybe he doesn't eat meat, but he eats at IHOP, McD's, Wendys, fried chicken places daily (check his twitter).....he may be a blessed athlete (well not in NE), but that doesn't mean he's a…

I recently discovered the Bolthouse line of dressing and the Honey Mustard is amazeballs. But the blue cheese was nasty - tastes just like someone trying to make a creamy dressing low-ca.

I hate stirring peanut butter. The consistency never gets right for me. I'll stick with my unnatural Skippy. Been eating it since I was 5 and I'm still here.

Starbucks now has skinny mocha drinks that I think come in around 100 cals or so for a tall. Having those here and there isn't too much of an indulgence. Or try regular coffee with some of the fun creamers at the grocery store - I just bought the caramel macchiato and they have a white chocolate mocha too.

I watch Boy Meets World every morning to this day (today was the creepy one where Fred Savage hits on Topanga....Fred Savage would never be so icky!) Rock of Love - even got my mom hooked on it MTV's The Challenge - should be the 5th professional sport (Bill Simmons)

The Twilight series didn't bug me too much. I took the writing and the plot for who it was meant for (teenage girls), but the last book I wanted to throw across the room. Biggest waste of time! I hate The Hobbit. It took me 15 years to finally finish that book. I'd pick it up so many times because people said it was great…

Dunkin changed their system, so they don't brew separate coffee pots of regular, hazelnut and french vanilla in the store. Now that they have so many flavors, it all comes out of a machine. They brew regular coffee and add syrup, milk, sugar, etc. It's all done with the push of a button now.

It's not unhealthy, but wouldn't say it's healthy either. Definitely need to add more fruits and veggies into your day, and a lot more protein. Substitute the toast in the morning (that's carbs + carbs) with eggs or a breakfast meat, and have a salad with chicken, or a deli or tuna sandwich for lunch and you'll feel full…

I generally work 10 hour days, leave work 630pm or so, then don't get home until after 7. I find I go to the gym more consistently when I drive to work and don't go home in between work and gym. Put the gym clothes in the car and drive straight there. When I take the bus, I have to go home and change and get the car, and I…
