Mine is open and you can add me. Don't pay too much attention to my daily M&M snack obsession though. lol

Hi I'm Angela. You can add me if you'd like.

I completely understand your pain. I was on a regular workout schedule and felt like I could run a marathon until the flood of August 2016 hit our home in Louisiana and we had to basically relocate to a rental overnight...in the middle of the night. At the time, my biggest concern wasn't about weight loss or exercise and…

That's not too bad because I have long legs and can walk a 15 minute mile so nice going.

This is a great idea. Thanks

Thrift stores, Walmart and Target. Unfortunately I have clothes in about 3 different sizes and really need to clean out my closet so I'm not inclined to fit into those big clothes again. I also do Ebay also but it's hard for me to find pants that fit since I'm 5'8" and have a long inseam and my mama's hips. :#

Those are awesome suggestions. Thank you

Anyone here can add me if they'd like. :)

I live in Louisiana which means we have greasy fried snacks all of the time but I've noticed that if I eat my greek yogurt or fill up on good stuff that I bring, I don't have the urge to eat the crap they bring to the office.

I want to be around a long time for my daughter and have a good quality of life as I age. I've made working out a habit and love the gym and would like to start running but need to lose more weight before attempting that because I don't want my knees to retaliate. lol

Good advice!! Thank you.

Please friend me if you need positive words and support. I know the struggle and understand.

This is me too. I watch tv, catch up on the news or read an ebook. Anything to keep my mind off of the treadmill or elliptical machine and before I know it, the workout is over and I'm thankful I survived it. lol

I WANT THAT!!!! lol

I just wanted to chime in to say don't give up and give it a little more time. You seem to be on the right track and if you're tracking your CICO and exercising, you WILL see results. Sending positive vibes your way!

I also walk a mile on my morning break and prefer to eat lunch afterward because I don't want cramps or to feel sluggish but whatever works for you is what you should do. Congrats on getting a mile in during lunch. :)

Walking is an excellent workout and doesn't require much except a pair of good tennis shoes and some space. I'm getting back to the gym regularly and realize how hard it is but you can do it. Just take it one step at a time.
-
Usually about 600-700 at the gym and another few hundred during the day with steps and working around the house. Wish I could burn 2000/2500.
-
I do both and I feel that I'm working harder when I walk outdoors due to the sharp incline changes where I walk but I also do the treadmill on a regular basis at the gym when I don't have a chance to get out. I like them both.

IMO, I love MFP. I've tried WW's years ago but didn't have time for meetings and lost a few pounds before I gave it up. MFP works for me because it's convenient since I always have my phone and can easily log whatever I eat or calories I burn. It's a no brainier for me but you need to evaluate your own situation.
-
You've got this! Just start logging and you'll start losing in no time.

THIS!! I also have 2 scales and used to drive myself crazy comparing the weights on both but I finally decided that I was only going to use the digital scale and was only going to weigh myself once a week. As long as I see a downward trend in my weight, I'm good.

Eating out for me always makes me feel weird because I don't know for sure about the calories in the food I'm consuming and it's always really easy to overeat because they offer breads and side salads which just add to the total calories at the end. If I know which restaurant I'm going to in advance, I'll try to scope out…
