I just started intermittent fasting on a 16/8 schedule where I limit eating to 10a-6pm. I’ve heard that Keto would help me lose weight faster but I’m not doing Keto because I’d like the flexibility of eating what I want as long as I watch my macros. Also, I used to have an unhappy stomach that grumbled and made weird…

I can see it both ways, Keto seems like a fad but it's also been around for a while in the form of Atkins, Sugarbusters, South Beach, ect. They probably praised WWs (aside from the Oprah factor) because you can eat whatever you want as long as you account for it which may make it easier for some to follow and stick with it…

I'm at work enjoying that my boss is not here today! :)

Awesome!! Thank you so much. I'm going to check into it today.

That sounds like a great idea but we live in a city where cyclists have died due to distracted motorists. I wish our route home was one that would allow a nice peaceful bike ride but it wouldn't work in this case. Thanks for the idea though. We may use that idea on the weekends when we can take the bikes to the city park.

I'll definitely check it out, thank you.

Nice job!!! Keep up the awesome work!!! YOU ROCK!!!!!

Have you tried butter sprays? I can't believe it's not butter is one that has 0 calories but I'm not sure about fat and other bad stuff.

Treadmill and elliptical are my favorites but I'd suggest anything you'll stick to long term!

I'm in Baton Rouge and this is the truth! I LOVE red bean and rice. Good luck with Meatless Mondays!!

I agree with the previous poster. Go to the gym to get fit. Unless it's a gym that charges ridiculous fees to people who want to walk around being cute, you will see results if you want to try a gym. Some don't do gym's but I like mine because it's close and convenient to work. I go to the YMCA and it's not glamorous but I…

I am now. lol

How amazing! You are truly an inspiration. Congratulations!

I like old fashioned Quaker Oats. They cook up in about 1 1/2 minutes in the microwave and I add milk and sugar. Mmmmm delicious!

I think I have insomnia because I go to bed around 9 or 10 and I'm up at 4 to go to the gym. My problem is the fact that I always have a million things to do with my daughter and housework and my husband has selective vision (but I love him though)

LOL The free version works just fine. Just like any program designed to help loose weight, you have to be motivated to make it work for you and no amount of additional gizmos on MFP is going to make you lose weight if you're not ready.

I've eaten pizza or doughnuts as long as it fit within my caloric intake for the day.

I have an open diary. Feel free to snoop.

This is really good advice. I sometimes eat back my calories if I'm exceptionally hungry but the next day it seems to balance out because I find that those hungry days don't hit me all of the time (thank god). Use your judgement and eat back some to see if you are still able to lose weight and adjust accordingly.

I do this all the time and it seems like the norm.

This is a touchy subject for me because I'm overweight. I'm as healthy as a horse with normal BP and no other health issues but my weight shouldn't require me to pay more for insurance but I can see it from both sides and understand the reasoning behind it if employers did require overweight people to pay more for…

My male co-worker swears by kombucha and lost about 20 pounds in a reasonable amount of time but he's a guy and could probably hold his breath to lose weight. lol Seriously though, if it works for you, stick with it.

I'm 5'8" and my goal is 155 lbs only because I have my mom's hips and chest so if I go lower, I'll probably look like I have a medical issue. Your goal seems completely reasonable to me.

I'm embarrassed to agree with this but I do. :D
-
That makes sense. Got it. Thanks

I make sure to leave about 150-200 calories for after dinner sweets. I love them so I don't abstain and this keeps me from feeling like I'm missing something that I really enjoy.

This is the truth

I did this last night to clean out the fridge and it was soooo delicious! About 1/4 cup Chopped Onion Leftover chicken (deboned) - I had about 1/2 a baked chicken leftover and pulled the meat off the bones 1 can of black beans (undrained) 1 can of corn (drained) A couple of cups of cooked Jasmine Rice - any rice will do…

I have an Apple Watch that reminds me to stand and move around every so often so I try to fill up my 20 oz plastic water bottle then. Plus I track water through MFP.

Mine is open and you can add me. Don't pay too much attention to my daily M&M snack obsession though. lol
